Ex Raiders... where are they now?

Dunamis Lui signs with the Redcliffe Dolphins Scott Murray will be in his first year as head coach of the Redcliffe Dolphins’ state league team as they prepare for the 2022 Queensland Cup. Redcliffe has signed ex-NRL front rower and 2020 Queensland Origin prop Dunamis Lui, and will have players ava...

Re: Canberra Raiders boss Don Furner says NRL could allow coaches to reach beyond top 30

Are all NSW cup sides affiliated with an NRL team?

The Raiders obviously will have their own NSW cup team next year, couldn’t we form a loose link with another NSW cup team and if the need arises promote from within their ranks.

Re: 2022

I will be very surprised if Horsburgh and Sutton are in green next year. Obviously the team should be picked on merit but it is certainly a cross against their names.
I expect Horsburgh in particular will play more games in Reggie’s then firsts this year.

What’s even crazier is the last 4 overs Maxwell barely saw any strike. Stoinis was absolutely destroying the bowling so the overall total didn’t suffer but Maxwell could have reached 200 quite easily.

What end up happening with Rapana? Did the club/NRL stand him down for a couple of games or has it been swept under the carpet.

Yeah, I had them slipping out as well but this has just confirmed it for me. Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2022

Got to admit I think we are long shots of making the 8. I don’t like what has been popping up on the socials and think it may end up in plenty of excuses. On top of that I don’t think our roster is necessarily better then 8 other teams. Hopefully my pessimistic mindset means it is an enjoyable year....

Su'a and Gagai are big losses for them. As is Bennett. He was always able to get a 'no-name' forward pack playing consistently to their ceiling. Will be an interesting season for them. Whilst they may miss them in the short term you can understand why they didn’t keep them. Gagai isn’t getting any ...

It will be interesting to see what happens with NAS. As it stands he can’t train or play in Melbourne. They have said they will support him at this stage, does that mean he spends a season living in QLD and playing Q cup?

Surely Ikuvalu hasn’t been singed to play in the centres. Out of 38 games for the roosters he played their once. Even last year when they had 4 centres out injured he still wasn’t picked in the centre.

Suli on the wing is an interesting choice. Bit of a rough roster. The dragons 17 will be very different to this in my opinion. Amone is a 5/8 and they will surely look to develop him some more in cup. Sulu is a centre he should never be on the wing and the Feagi twins have both been extended and lo...

In what world are the Cowboys releasing Robson. He is contracted until the end of 2023 and releasing him would leave them with Cotter and Granville. Wing is a more important position in the modern game than the Raiders seemingly give it credit for. Not sure you can be upset at players working with Fabri, he has worked with players from quite a few clubs. Including the winners of the last 4/5 GF’s.

Not surprised. Could be best for all three parties tbh. Raiders move on from Hodgo who is clearly slowing down, invest more in Starling and save some $$$. It makes sense to me that Horsburgh will be a target for them. They have to sign bulk Qld players for it to work. He'd be well and truly in their plans imo. I'd say you'd almost definitely lock in Munster as their main man and they'll work around that. Munster hasn’t done himself any favours recent...
