Re: Coronavirus
I think somebody mentioned it earlier, but it's absolutely mind boggling that masks STILL aren't required outdoors in Sydney. Perhaps that’s because, to my knowledge, no one has actually caught it outdoors Doubt it, regardless of what the numbers say. If they were able to link all the emerging case...

There's some smart cookies floating around, but generally speaking the average NRL player is not renowned for his intelligence.
Unfortunately, a good many of them are overtly and publicly dumb, like good old Paul Vaughan.

I don't get how it's supposed to be a bit of a punt? If they allowed you to book, you're booked, not going to yank it away from the thousands of people who now have vaccination appointments. Yeah there was a pre-warning that my age group wasn’t eligible yet, and by booking I could be turned away. I...

Clubs have been advised that players or officials who make a substantive breach to protocols face being immediately removed from the competition, including being removed from the State for non-Queensland based Clubs. Good! I wonder how long it will be before the first turkey gets bounced out of QLD...

It's been well publicised that there are a bunch of muppet players that keep breaking the bubble - I don't think that gives us a good chance of exemptions being granted and the game going ahead.

I had my hopes up we'd get rid of this dropkick, for a second.
Sit him down and tell him he'll never play first grade for us again, and we'll release him in a heartbeat if someone else tables an offer. Hopefully he'll rack off before too long.

I am entirely unsurprised.
You just had to look how slight he is, and how hard he runs at the defence, to feel he had a major injury coming his way at some point in the near future.

Not that I claim to fully understand how viruses function, though to my knowledge each variant strain is based on a single mutation (and sub-variants from there, and so on). I think Delta's mutation was to increase transmissibility - something to do with spike receptors, perhaps. Helps it stick to y...

What's the deal with Simonsson? Been doing nothing on the wing, gets a chance at fullback and pretty much cements his spot there for the rest of the year. Good win, but looks like we need a proper goalkicker. We could get away without Croker while we had George Williams, but with Sam Williams missin...

Just to highlight how far behind we are with vaccine rollout, the Indy 500 is on this weekend. They have implemented a no jab, no seat policy - however, they have also facilitated a vaccine base ON SITE so if you haven’t received your vaccine, you can have a free jab on the way to your seat. Are there any actual restrictions of movement associated with the Sydney COVID thing at the moment?
As far as I saw earlier, anybody can go anywhere, but there's just a whole lot of ancillary rules to do with masks, maximum gathering sizes, and the like.

I wouldn't be worried about a massive AZ stockpile. If the government can't get Australians to take it, there's plenty of other counties that will jump at the chance to buy it from us or receive it as a humanitarian gift. It's a risk decision at the end of the day. COVID effectively doesn't exist in...

Maybe live I missed who was really at fault, though I swear I saw the Rabbits score down Simonsson's wing twice in the second half, then he got moved to the second side and they scored over there, too (with a limping Kris, admittedly).

Bit annoyed by the viking clap taunt. You expect low-class out of that area, though it wouldn't be nearly so aggravating if they didn't put themselves so firmly in the driver's seat through foul play.
