Re: Coronavirus
17 cases in Canberra. Although there seems to be a trend that transmission is having at essential worker sites and not in public. Also clearly Coke no sugar is the superior Sugar free cola. Overall though Vanilla coke is superior cola. Just not sure about the packaging rebranding. https://pbs.twimg....

Re: Coronavirus
Childcare site is a new close contact exposure site for Canberra. It's been a common theme that a child will get it then the whole house will. I've been into civic every weekday since lockdown and while it is obviously, very, very quiet I've pretty much seen 100% mask compliance from people that are...

Um no Laura. Pfizer was being delivered at 6 weeks, as was AZ. Completely incorrect and propagating the narrative pushed by certain premiers. She's better than that. Do you have the stats on that doc? Anecdotally I’ve heard of just about every variation happening, so I’m not sure it’s as clear cut ...

Maybe in the cities. I know people in regional QLD who want AZ but they can't find an appointment.
Anyway I think it will be interesting to see where we are in a few months as we should hit the ceiling in terms of first doses. ACT is confidence of getting well over 90% across all ages groups.

Re: Coronavirus
The national plan doesn't say that. The national plan says that the 70 per cent threshold is met when the country is 70 per cent vaccinated (in the relevant age group) and it hits that level in the jurisdiction concerned. Same for 80 per cent. What NSW or Victoria do does not depend on whether Quee...

This is damning if true.
Paying people to stay at home is a big way to stop the spread and the virus going out of control, especially in early parts.

Looking at ACT's data at 98.98% of the 70+ population have had at least one dose. Obviously a smaller population but also shows what not having a Pete Evans anti vax crowd can achieve. Shows how fast this can tear through schools. When it comes to 80% with double doses Barr talks about this being 12 and over but I feel a lot of the other states are talking 16+
