Re: Aidan Sezer

I thought Sezer was average against the Sharks. Still playing too much before the line and too structured. He needs to play what's in front of him and take the line on more. He wasn't bad but it certainly wasn't his best game in recent times. The forwards won us this battle and quite comfortably. Pa...

Re: NRL ladder predictor: Critical results for Raiders hopes

I think Manly are home but I think the Cowboys are in real trouble. Their run is tough and I doubt they beat either Brisbane or the Sharks. We are going to have to rely on other results going our way and win all our remaining games IMO. We are still alive for another week though. Just quietly, Shark...

Re: The Green Machine Podcast

Pretty sure his % is down this yer from previous years and his legs don't seem to be generating the same strength as previous years. His kicks are limping over the cross bar at times. Just an observation.

Re: Aidan Sezer

Rubbish. Our half needs to know how to lead and he can't. He refuses to take the line on himself and allows Paulo in at first and second receiver. He should want the ball in his hands all the time. The good ones always do. His kicking game is useless and he simply cannot perform in clutch situation...

Couldn't agree more. All you Stuart disciples who thought signing Stuart was wise when we won't make the finals. How you feeling now? One of the worst decisions in the history of the club. Ever.

Re: Ricky Stuart extended to end 2020 as Canberra Raiders co

One likely finals campaign in four season tells me he hasn't earned an extension. If it takes a 25% record of making the finals to earn an extension, then the club (and fans) are setting the bar pretty low.

We should have waited until the season was over before considering a new deal.

Re: Is Ricky Stuart the right coach to take the Raiders forw

There is no competition for spots which breeds complacency. There are a few players that deserve to be dropped but due to lack of depth we would only be exarcerbating the situation by blooding someone who is not ready. There's no point naming names because at some juncture this season, almost every ...

Nope. Six losses by six points or less and three in golden point.

One of the worst seasons ever for the raiders when you consider where we finished last season.

We are a disgrace and the team is in free fall.

Gutless ****.

Waste of money IMO. Waste of money? So what centre should we be looking at long term? Cut BJ and replace him with Cotric? Or go to the market, I reckon BJ will finish this year on fire All well and good to finish on fire when we are out of top eight contention. Doesn't mean much apart from padding ...

Re: Wighton re-signs to end 2020

Meh. I would have focused on other players before Jack. Probably got around 600k which is market value but he is till too inconsistent for my liking. If he improves then great but he needs to get the jekyll and hyde out of his game before I would consider him elite.

A bit of a stretch (and that's putting it mildly) to suggest I hate the club. If I hated the club, I'd be indifferent to the results and wouldn't bother at all. I consider myself to be passionate about the club and demand a very high standard. I get to as many games I can, participate in a podcast a...

Why? Because I am critical of my team when we lose? Another sheep without a shepherd I see. A blind follower if you will. That was sarcasm at work Azz. I wouldn't do it again and yes, it was an accident at the time. Frankly, I have better things to do than waste my time on an underachiever like Wighton. I'd love to see the Raiders go after Mitchell for fullback and move Jack to the wing or out of the side altogether. We don't have the depth to make any meaningful changes and yes, we do go through the same **** year after year, which is why it never ceases to amaze when fans back the players and give them unconditional support in the desperate hope we may jag a premiership.
