Re: Clive Churchill Medal

Get me Blocker Roach on the judging panel and I’ll lock in Papalli or JWH.

Get Bozo Fulton and we can lock in Jamie Buhrer.

Re: 2019 Dally M Awards

Its just such a poorly judged award. Total up teams Dally M points over a season and Raiders always finish well below on Dally M points ladder than on their actual ladder position. Year after year, season after season this pattern continues. Yet Sydney teams have the reverse and get over awarded poi...

Geez the Dally M awards are a poor judge of Rugby League.

The NRL needs to introduce a better system and soon.

Re: Let’s get behind Erin Molan

That blowing the horn gag, the guys were playing on Erin Molan was just an example of how weak Channel 9 football coverage has become.

Pardon the pun for using ‘gag’ in this context.

Erin Molan is a fine support act for a sports panel show, but she ain’t supporting much league intellect.

Re: Retain or release?

Raiders negotiations with Sezer took quite a while and neither the Raiders or other clubs were scampering to sign him. His manager didn’t come out in the media plugging his clients new deal. Suggesting something around $550-600 as a guess. Manager Sam Ayoub is always quick to promote an above expect...

Yep Lui has had safe hands most of the year (terrible drop ball first touch Friday) but his goal line defence is consistently very good and he’s willing to take the first tackle hit up and get smashed.

Lui’s a small cog amongst our big cogs.

2019 Preliminary Final V Rabbitohs: Teams and Previews

Guler has taken the Horsburgh and Lui approach of doing everything right on and off the field to grab a top 17 position. I think Sutton hasn’t fully recovered from injury and it looks to me like the long NRL season has started to catch up with him. But Sutton’s been really good and he will keep impr...

A city of our size and status should definitely have a 30,000 seat rectangular stadium.
