Re: 2023 Rd 19 v Dragons: Game Day
Aussies robbed of an LBW shout Umpire's call on impact should be able to be overruled if the ball is ******** smashing middle stump. The fact that we're in the critical Test of the biggest series in world cricket and the two worst umpires on the international panel are standing in the middle with t...

Mooney had a bit of a shaky start but he’s finding the pace now Looks NRL ready Looks good to me. He's just not used to being hit hard in tackles, looks like he expects to just crash over them lol. But good Good comment Wasn’t quite ready for the physicality at first, but has adjusted almost immedi...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2023
Vossy and David Riccio mentioned Lachlan Lam to the Raiders again this morning on SEN. Said rumours getting stronger. Also mentioned tigers looking at Aiden Sezer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Lam could be an interesting signing. Nobody rated Fogarty when he was signed as a stop-gap. I've been...

Re: 2023 State of Origin III - Blues v Maroons
I think Luai had to go . They had plenty of ball in games 1 and 2 and he failed to turn it in to points. That's your job as a half, can't remember him coming up with too many decent kicks either. Walker is the best left side option at coming up with points, he's got a great passing game so i underst...

i dont think Bazball is failing, if anything its the only thing keeping them in games, they're just not as good a side as Australia. Now you sound like the English cricket team. Another way to look at it is that Bazball has cost them at least one game this series (game 1) and possibly 2. They went ...

I don't see what the fuss is about. It's not like Carey did something sneaky. He caught the ball and immediately threw it at the stumps. It's not like he waited around, holding onto it waiting for old mate to leave his wicket, then declaring "hazaar' I still have the ball", twirling is mo...

Re: The Cricket Thread
I don't get it. The Poms were attempting to do the same, unsuccessfully. But because the Aussies copied them, but were successful, it's against the spirit of the game? Blatant hypocrisy. The one against Marnus? completely different scenario as he's batting out of his crease and therefore is fair ga...

Thought Starling was actually better against the titans, put Tapine in to space a couple of times with a nicely timed pass and think there was another occasion too.
needs to make that the norm though as Puru playing 20-30 minutes at 9 and then 20-30 at lock forward probably gives us better balance

Meh. They were happy to apply the ridiculous rulebook in their favour in overturning Starc's catch, but are sooking about the Aussies using that same rulebook to dismiss an English player. I'm fine with the $ offered, its a far bigger salary cap next year isnt it?
Only issue could be someone like Tapine expecting the same sort of contract, but then if we upgrade him and give him the captaincy he probably gets an upgrade to something similar anyway

Crowd booing at the Bairstow dismissal. It was totally legit. They should be booing Bairstow for walking out of his crease like that. While it’s the correct decision, I think Australia should have withdrawn the appeal. Batsman including Australians, pick up balls and walk in and out of their crease...

Yea i think Lachlan Lam would be a far better bet if we were targeting someone from the UK, I know he wasnt great at the Roosters but he was only young when he left and didnt get that many opportunities(only started in 17 games accross 3 seasons), has since played well at the world cup, and not only...

Surely you take the opportunity to free up a spot, would not make sense to go in to 2024 without the ability to sign a quality 9 because you already have 3 average (or below)hookers on the books,

Exactly the team I was expecting to be named I thought the speculation that change was coming was well off the scent Yup, Savage named on the wing in nsw cup again.
