I guess what I'm saying is if it was me recruiting I would be a lot less desperate to recruit some semi-recognisable player ; a lot more sceptical about potential recruits and a lot more protective of the Raiders reputation - in regards to NOT being a last resort for outcast players.

Melbourne have stated that they want to keep him, but the Raiders should make him an offer regardless. We should chase any and all players we want to target, whether we have a chance of getting them or not, just to make sure whoever gets them pays top dollar.
