Re: NRL 360
NRL360 is just a bunch of old drunks arguing about nothing. If I want to see that I’ll go down my local pub at 10am on a weekday. It’s embarrassing stuff, really. Agreed. I used to watch it back in the Ben Ikin days but have stopped watching it since. Starved for RL I turned it on the other night b...

Guler continues to be the most bizarre GH scapegoat I’ve encountered. No, he never became a top tier prop but he wouldn’t be getting paid like one either. But he’s so much better than he’s given credit for on here. He’d be locked in starting front rower at a few other clubs. It’s not his fault the ...

I can’t say I’ve been this excited about seeing the NRL season opener in a long, long time. Maybe in 1990 I was more excited. Nah, definitely more excited in 1990. But, this build up in Vegas has just been outstanding. 100% agree. They have done an awesome job getting the NRL front and centre for t...

It's the right approach with the young players. Week in week out NRL will be a struggle for them. The boys on the Bloke in a Bar podcast covered the same thing talking about Tallis Duncan . Got to take into account Tallis Duncan is a forward who has already played 7 NRL games and there is the benef...

I would settle for the guys just throwing the ball around a bit more. Make use of our elite forward pack and get them to start throwing some offloads. With players like Weeks/Strange, Starling, Tomoko, Kris and Savage floating around the back that is all that we would need. Flick the switch every fe...

That was something I was asking earlier, has Fog played left side before? I assume he went to the right because Jack was the marquee player and could only attack on the left. Did he slot in there on the weekend? If he didn't then I think it's less likely to happen Maybe a bench spot to cover both backs and forwards. I also thought Hosking to centre but having him on the bench gives us really good backline cover. If they played him at centre and we had an injury we could...

This is what a Ricky Stuart rebuild looks like. A mix of youth that is either too raw (Chevy/Strange/Sanders) or sub-par(Hoppa/Saulo), mixed in with a few very well paid forwards long past their best and declining. Don’t forget selecting the 3rd choice journeyman hooker. Can’t wait…. Sent from my i...

Happy to have ES coming but think the trial showed he is not ready for FG this year. With that in mind if he is getting NSW Cup games at Parra then we should not be swapping anyone to get him here early unless it suits us (Levi, Guler etc.)

If Rapana will be starting the season at 1 then why isn’t Chev playing 1 in the trial? This would be the first chance to see him play against a NRL standard side and now it’s a wasted opportunity by Stick unless there is a late change which would seem weird for a trial. There is blue, green and yellow in the multicultural design, all club colours. It doesn’t have to look anything like the traditional jersey. In fact, these alternates should be significantly different. Otherwise, what’s the point? I think the design is sensational. I’d love to see it as a proper je...
