I came for the Savage-Semi meltdown but you know what, seeing confirmation of Croker left out of the team tells me anything can happen.

Re: 2021 Rd 15 V Dragons: Game Day

Thanks for the input gents!

Is it not rather strange that these rules are not accurately written somewhere? (with information pertaining to when they were introduced)

How many of these rules are just constantly changed and they wonder why players get confused?

Re: 2021 Rd 15 V Dragons: Game Day

Rapana didn't play at the ball but it still hit him before going dead. So even if he is "dead", as in already over the sideline or dead ball line, if he touches the ball it's him that put it into touch? Seems a bit odd, given that you can make a ball off a kick off dead by just touching i...

Wighton has been arguably the most underperforming player this season.

But I'm sure he'll get picked for NSW and win representative player of the series.

Yeah, I'm giving him a 2.5/10. Mainly because he missed so much of the season and for large chunks that he DID play, he was pretty ordinary. 5/10 onfield, halved for missing half the games He showed glimpses of what he can do though, and will be better in 2021, I'm sure of that . Your optimism in o...

Bit of a moot vote for this season, isn't it? Guess O'Donnell played 12 minutes of footy this season as well..

Here's to Timoko winning this title next year!

comfortably in the top 5 fullbacks this season. I'd like to see him grow his hair long again though This is the real feedback he needs to read. Agree with most here, not his best season but still one of the best fullbacks in the game. With the locks back, he'll find himself back at the top quickly.

Very interesting indeed. The flaws in the dally m were quite known but this just really highlights it well. Happy for Jack but there is no way I can say he had a better season than Papalii in terms of consistency. I'll be completely honest and say there is no way I can say he had a better season tha...

Re: Is Stuart the right person to take us forward?

Whether it's coaching or otherwise, I'm not sure, but we have not been an enjoyable team to watch for years. Even when we win, the team strategy leaves me with more relief or surprise than any confidence or confirmation of good team cohesion. I really hope he is the man to take us there but boy does...

Re: 2020 Finals Week 3 V Storm: Game Day

In 2020, our outstanding halves + Papa and Taps have papered over the awful truth...we are a middling side, playing a gormless, soulless brand of football. Our coach is an infuriating confection of outstanding man management coupled with dour tactical conservatism. Our team defends with tenacity, b...

That was hard to watch. The complete other end of the spectrum to what any of us were hoping to see from the team. - Our two big name players (Wighton and Papalii) were both non existent tonight. - Rapana had probably the worst game of his career and shows that he is not a centre. - Admire Bateman's...

Loving George Williams and his down to earth mindset. This guy is a breath of fresh air for our side, and IMO is being poorly used by the coaching staff. He can run himself, short pass to a hole runner (as per Papaali's try against the Roosters), throw a long ball over the defense (as per Cotric's ...

To be honest, I saw nothing different today to what I have the last month (if not longer). Only difference is today we versed an opposition that are at full strength and form. And we got demolished. I feel that topics like this need to be broken up between fans of the club the players played for, and everyone else (media, neutral fans) who I'll brand as neutrals. E.g. in no way is Jarrod Croker underrated by the Raiders fan base - to me he has been very overrated by Raiders fans, exemplified b...

I'm ready for the raiders cheerleaders to rant about how we're the best team since 1994. It was a good win considering circumstances and strong in defence. But still a massive way to go in coordination and attack. No one could disagree that our last try was complete luck and our halves haven't click...

Very sad :( Best of luck to him though.

Will remember his debut season as probably the best winger debut season I have ever seen. Also ironically the same year which was one of the most (if not the most) disappointing seasons ever after our success in 2016..

For the first couple of tackles, yes it does. But you have to defend the whole set, and what with the risk of six-again calls, possibly more. In that context, the potential for a repeat set or scoring a try cannot be ignored. You're simply giving up too much potential upside for a very circumscribe...
