Re: Off topic

Change of pace, gentlemen. Stick with this for a bit. It gets a little involved. For context, I'm in Northern Japan at the moment. So on the way home from a couple of beers and a bowl of ramen, I spot ‘Pieters Belgian Beer Café’, and pop in for a finisher or two. The place is almost empty, and Piet...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2018

^exactly, and he’s a great defender. I want to see it. If only there was a premiership winning fullback that knows how to organise a defensive line and position himself for kicks, still in the prime of his career, but without an NRL contract? :hmmm ? And without a history of drug, alcohol and behav...

And on top of the salary cap considerations, if we had seriously taken the stance that's Austin is not here next year and Sammy and Ata will fill the gap, one of them should be playing now.

Re: Melbourne Storm looking to add Blake Austin for 2019

Off-contract five-eighth Blake Austin's future's still up in the air, with no offer currently on the table from the Raiders. He's been shopped to the Melbourne Storm, but it's very unlikely they'll take up the offer. Austin's also been linked with Parramatta and English Super League club Leeds. htt...

The win should almost highlight the issues - for a team of players to spend the first 20 minutes of that match looking like they had just met is exceptionally poor. For Hodgo to come onto the field, and everyone suddenly appears to be first graders again highlights the lack of structure, accountabil...

Re: Refs on Tigers tries

It would be nice if they admitted the stuff up but I suppose no one is asking given the context of the game. I'd be annoyed if we missed out on the 8 due to a 4 point F/A differential. Mind you, we did score the very next play. There's about 4 terrible losses that were our own fault. Season review ...

Basically every li e in that article contradicts reality. He won't leave, he hasn't been offered a contract. He isnt back in form, we just won a game, and he scored a try. He isn't in demand, both Melbourne and Parra can understand he is running out of options so they can get a versatile, experience...

Hard not to get a slightly uneasy feeling about this. Let's just hope Josh gets through the game unscathed, irrespective of the result. Also important to remember that we had Hodgo all season last year and didn't even make the 8. He's a wonderful player, but it's optimistic to think his return will...

Ive lived in Canberra, and Windsor at the foot of the Blue Mountains. I have no stats to back me up, but there was bugger all difference. I wonder if Reynolds is about to do a Maloney. He might have missed the boat in halves price rise last year and his manager realised he may be worth more in today's market than he is getting, and being locked away until 2021 doesn't leave room for upgrade on current contract.
