Re: 2021 Rd 15 V Dragons: Game Day
Keep hearing how bad the dragons are. Well. 4 points ahead of us aren't they. People take the piss out of Corey Norman and for the most part rightly so but tell me he hasn't been better than Jack Wighton this year. Go on. At least he occasionally creates something. Wighton has been dreadful this sea...

No one is saying Brooks is a world beater. But at worst he's a competent 1st grade halfback. Anyone that thinks we're going well enough or are in a position to knock him back is kidding themselves.

Brooks cops a bad rap. Isn't anywhere near as bad as people make out. I wouldn't be leaping for joy if we end up with him but it'd be far from a disaster. Would obviously prefer Johnson. On that, can anyone confirm Stick was spotted in the shire with SJ yesterday arvo?

I'm sorry but anyone that still thinks Simonsson is 1st grade standard is cooked. Always found it odd the amount that seem to rate him. 3 of our current back 5 are reserve graders. Have the Fox League commentary team looked at the Raiders' list of OUTS? I've heard at length about the Roosters' list of outs... but no mention of the Raiders. The thing about our interest in Hynes if true is I could picture us putting him in the 7 and keep CNK at fullback. It might not turn out to be the worst decision but I think we really do need to upgrade at fullback as well as finding a replacement half, especially under these rules. Buy a good FB a...

We do already have a fullback. Guess what? Hynes is a better fullback. No reason CNK can't be an elite winger/centre. But...if we keep CNK there, Hynes would be fine at half, played most of his junior footy there.

Seen a few people praising the lads for 'having a crack'. Admirable effort etc.. They're 1st grade Rugby League players, they shouldn't be praised for trying. That should be a minimum requirement I'd have thought. It's like praising the postman for delivering your mail.

Souths were awful in the 1st half and we only lead by 2. That's where the game was lost. We should've been up by far more at ht. What happened in the 2nd half was inevitable. At no stage did I think we were winning that game.
