Re: Health and fitness

Just registered for the Jeju 50. My wife has to wait the 48 hours until it opens up. Very excited to be doing a run with her in her home country. Should be a great experience for both of us.

Re: 2024 Rd 1 v Knights: Teams and Previews *Teams p1

I share the Hoppa and Levi frustration but I guess overall it's not a bad lineup. We really need to improve our defence this year and hopefully the additions of Smithies and Hoskings helps. I still think we'll get run down in the second half but excited to see how we go. Great to have the footy back...

Re: North Queensland Cowboys 2024

I like Todd Payten as a coach, but there isn't much for me to get excited about with the way the Cows are headed. Some good young forwards, but the backs are way too old. The squad is built the wrong way around. Sent from my CPH2021 using Tapatalk Drinkwater is still producing enough creativity for...

He plays for the Roosters. He'll get a warning or a fine, or both. Maybe some sort of community service or education program thrown in.

So much for every team getting a chance at this. It would be incredible, yet somewhat **** typical if any of the same 4 sides are there next year.

Wonder if instead of Walsh with the shoulder charge it was sayyyy Rapa…wonder if he would have got binned? Hear me now, believe me later, the broncos won’t reach the same heights they did last year. I agree. I do hate them so I'm biased, but Farnsworth, Flegler and Capewell are massive losses. More pressure on Haas to carry the pack. They're up the creek if he or Carrigan gets injured for any length of ...

If Ethan Strange doesn't get the 6 jumper to start the season I think Ricky is making a mistake. He outplayed Weekes in both trials both with and without the ball. Re: Canberra Raiders team for 2024

I’ll have a go for the editor: * overly compressed defensive line allowing wingers to go around untouched. * throwing excessive crash balls in good position * not knowing the rules of the game and putting a foot over the dead ball line after catching it. So a few errors were made when our B grade s...

The interesting thing that people don't seem to acknowledge is that finals football is different from NRL. We play a style that works in big games. Every player we bring to the club seems to be fitting that mould. I.e. players who play tough, do the little things well and want to win. Last year was...

Weekes playing himself out of a jersey. Very pleased with Smithies and Hoskings limited minutes. Hoskings probably gets Kris' vacant spot or bench spot. I didn't think the passes for tries were howlers and didn't see the strip penalty (but have read about it). That try in the second half is a really bad decision though.

It's sadly ironic that the same group of people will fiercely and vocally insist that they should not be held accountable for the sins of our forebears but that same group are the ones holding their ground on not changing the date.
