Re: 2024 Round 5 v Eels: Game Day
Timoko. That was one of the best games I've seen by a Raiders centre. Incredible stuff. Huddo. That was his best game since he got picked for Origin. Hopefully it's give him his mojo back. Savage and Schiller on the wings shows what pace can do. Savage was faultless tonight which was pleasing. Schi...

It's better than a lot of rugby league content, but that isn't saying much. Matty's round wrap and his very brief analysis isn't bad. He knows his stuff.

I took Robbo's whinging more as a dig at the lack of consistency. He's not wrong on that.
But if the MRC or judiciary is looking at video of examples of a variety of high shots that swinging arm is the template for what should be a send off.

Actually now watching the presser I kind of agree with him. I'm not suggesting it shouldn't be a send off but he is right in saying that plenty of high tackles like that are just a penalty or sinbin.

I'm no lipreader, but it looks like Robinson just mouthed 'You ****ing cheat' twice in reference to Grant Akins calling the Burton strip on Manu a lost carry. Going to be a spicy presser. Goan Vindaloo spicy. And now Radley is off to the bin. As is tradition. How was Robinson in the presser going o...

Bruce Lehrmann case has been reopened by the Judge after new evidence emerges that Channel 7 covered $10,315 for his Sensai Thai Massages. I think Hudson-Young has drifted away from what made him successful and reverted to that guy that debuted - the one that looked for the big play, easy option too often. Trying to strip the ball every tackle and get away with it. The niggle, the hands in the face, on the ball, trying to be a pest. Wh...

I didn’t actually watch the press conference so only just saw this: “Usually when our bench go on, we’ve been keeping the momentum over the the start of the season. “When Joe and Papa went off tonight. I’ve got trust in those players to go on. “But (against Cronulla) we lost everything. We lost all...

Training going well mate, just laying the bricks. Did 6foot track a couple of weeks ago and found it quite easy compared to last time, and ‘accidentally’ ran a 15-20 min PB, so the plan is working. Well done mate. I've got Canberra Marathon this weekend. A bit nervous, I've only done one marathon and that was 10 years ago. Yeah, I struggled to find household income data that went back far enough. This was the best I could find on my phone this morning. From what I’ve read previously I’d expect the 80s/90s to be down in the 3-4 range, but as I say couldn’t find a good source today. Also I’ll just add that I think whil...

I think bringing Woolford into the side would see an immediate improvement in our go forward. Our clear strength as a team is our forward pack and our pack has been beaten two weeks straight. I still think Levi's service and guile is not good enough. I like the other things he brings to the side but...

They've got a good 'un in Lachlan Galvin. I'm not surprised. How would the Eels be feeling, having released him? And possibly about to release Sanders... Yes he looks good. We were expecting a wild ride this year as we are rebuilding so this isn't totally unexpected for what most of us were thinking in the off season. The frustrating part is how we were unlucky to lose last week and then started quite well. It's crazy and disappointing to lose like that. I hope we don'...

Trey deserves some minutes I reckon. He's always threatening in Reggie's. Not sure what he needs to do to get a run. Hosking has been great and we missed him out there today. He has however in the last two games left some yawning gaps in his goal line defence. He is a bit of a ball watcher and can ...

Rick didn’t say the word in the press conference. Taps nearly did. They got complacent. Shocking loss. After being 18 nil up. We lost all momentum when Taps and Papali went off.
