Re: 2024 Rd 4 v Sharks: Teams and Previews
So many options, but I’m still of the strong view that Danny Levi is the best 9 in the club and is who Ricky will pick when the team is announced tomorrow. Must have missed this so I’ll ask again! Genuine question, Billy... And ill propose it two different ways and give you dealers choices 1. There...

Re: 2024 Rd 4 v Sharks: Teams and Previews
Yeah i dont think we really need to go and get a 4-5 year long term option I think the depth at the club in that position and the quality of the depth is at a really high level, a few of these young blokes are REALLY promosing. I think we just need a competent hold over for 1-2 years to give them ti...

Crossland's stinks. If we're recruiting, we should be trying to recruit someone significantly better not moving from one bad option to a slightly better but still bad option.

Dude is a complete spud, our middles, even our bench middles will roll over that dude.
But by my reckoning, we beat the tigers by 20
The tigers are currently up by 24
20 * 24 (just trust me!)
we should beat the sharks by about 480 points!

Re: Raiders star's career remains in limbo nine months after terrifying seizure
Personally i think we blantantly breach the salary cap and risk crippling points deductions and massive fines and simply give the man a duffle bag full of high valued goods and cash. A Gucci bag with the deed to a house, keys to a BMW, speed boat and 500k cash should solve this problem for us. Right...

1. There are 17 starting hookers in this league. Where does Danny Levi rank amongst them for you?
2. There are 16 other clubs in the competition. Raiders aside, what other clubs do you think he'd start for?

Michael Lombardi often quotes Bill Walsh about the nature of sports and team building when he says “sometimes you're 2-3 injuries away from being a good team”
And I can’t help but think that rings true for our side.

The EW issue has been around for about 2 years now. Lets not pretend this is a new issue. Posters have been talking about this for a long time now. He'll have a game here and there where he winds back the time piece and produces good football and in fairness to him it seems to me, at least anecdotal...

I watched delayed and just finished now so haven't read back, but the Tapine try looked a try on every replay to me. Not sure what the consensus is here but I feel that was the wrong decision by the Bunker. I had no issues with the Strange no try... it went up a no try, he grounded it with his fore...

didnt take the bait offered up... credit where it's due.
You can let the easy ones go through to the keeper.

Im fond of saying sometimes in the POTY a narrative wins When a young player has been bashed from pillar to post about how he isnt physical and cant defend and he makes two exceptional try savers and one on arguably the hardest bloke to bring down 1 on 1 in the game... he's got points for me in a lo...

Changes that should be made that i think will happen: Hors and Kris for Saulo/Guler (dealers choice, its close enough that i wont argue the toss either way) and Cotric. Does anyone else think we look a little less soft this year? We still have our defensive line broken from time to time, but our last line scramble defence kind of reminds me of 2019.
