Not too bad despite the puzzling Rorters scheduling. At least the Panfers game is a Saturday instead of a Monday so we should be able to get a decent size raiders crowd up for it.

Re: Fans get their game back

IMO Central Coast bears are the first team to be added. I don't think relocating a team will work - it didn't work with the Northern Eagles so why would it work with the Sharks? Rugby league lost a lot of fans when the bears dissolved, I have a few mates who were bears supporters and they haven't be...

Re: Bird's appeal upheld, escapes jail sentence

Unbelievable :o - maybe they used the 'chewbacca defence'.

The Sharks do the right thing and sack him, the NRL deregisters him all in an attempt to get these grubs out of the game and then the court backflips with a triple pike and lets him off.

Why don't they just let kids under 15 in for free?

My little brother used to play for valley dragons but doesn't anymore so doesn't get free "junior player" entry anymore - I'm sure if he got free entry to every home game he would nag the crap out of my dad to take him to every home game.

Re: 2009 Four Nations

Wasn't a bad game, though the English forwards let them down badly in the second half. Sure Burgess scored a few good tries running good angles but their defense in the second half was terrible. Australia kept aiming straight behind the ruck and continually made 40 metres from three or four tackles ...

Quite often after a player signs with another club mid season their opportunities in the first grade squad dry up. I'm not trying to defend Flanagan, but simply referring to stats of games played isn't really a fair assessment of this situation. As stated previously I was disappointed with how he pl...

Re: Hayne offered 1.5 million to play AFL - Weidler

IMO its a really poor strategy by the AFL. It failed when the rugby union did it. They don't realise that fans support the game not the player. Players come and go yet the clubs and the game is what captivates the fans. I saw an interview with Osbourne last night he said he wasn't concerned because ...

We have the worst hooker and half in the comp no matter who we pick (yes I rate Waddell, but you simply can't compare him to any other starting hooker, not even most other bench hooker due to inexperience and being completely unproven). Once again Campese will be forced to organise as a halfback, o...

I've been saying for over 12 months now that Tongue needs to learn the Hooker craft because IMO our team is better balanced with him starting there, especially with the great backrow we have.
