Re: Canberra Raiders join race for Matt Dufty
The irony about people commenting on CNK's passing issues is it was his ball to Leilua that should have seen us leading in the 2019 GF. Beautiful ball in that instance.

We possibly need both but we need a 7 before a 1.

Hodgson better start every game at 9 that he is fit to play while we have him. Hopefully longer than this year.

Dylan Brown should be our target for sure. Not available next year but nabbing him a year early in 2023 could be possible if/when the Eels are feeling the Salary Cap pinch.

Re: 2021 Rd 12 V Roosters: Teams and Previews *Teams p1*
If Hodgson starts at 9 and plays 40-50 minutes there before moving to 13 to finish the game and play the full 80 we may win. If not I fear a drubbing. I think he should start at hooker and sub off around the 30 minute mark. Returning to 13 in the last 25-30 He's still a top 5 hooker in the NRL. I u...

Re: Canberra Raiders eye Nicho Hynes
I hope we are in on Hynes myself and if we have Hodgson money to spend as well I think we could gain a lot by going for the Storm trifecta of Hynes, Smith and Finucane. We'd need to clear more salary of course.

Re: Canberra Raiders eye Nicho Hynes
Hynes current market value is at least $700k, possibly pushing towards $1 million. He is strong, fast, ball playing, can kick, pass, run and cover fullback and the halves with aplomb. Players with his skillset and physique only come along once in a blue moon and yet are increasingly coveted in toda...

Hynes is surely a no brainer, right? Front load some contracts for next year and go hard for a couple of players like Dylan Brown and Keaon Koloamatangi for 2023.

Re: Canberra Raiders release George Williams immediately
Seems like Raiders were being reasonable but GW wanted it all his own way and wasn’t prepared to compromise. Also feeling homesick and not liking Canberra are not mental illnesses, unless he is diagnosed with depression or bipolar or something the club has no obligation to put the players welfare b...

Re: Canberra Raiders release George Williams immediately
Love how the player and his manager are completely absolved of any responsibility in the way this has played out. Be nice to sign a three year $2m contract, agitate for a release half way through the contract and publicly complain about the way it was handled when the club ultimately grants you the...

Re: Canberra Raiders release George Williams immediately
Ricky and Don must have private photos of Paul Kent, because any time anyone on the NRL360 desk tries to criticise the Raiders, PK immediately leaps to our defence. It is quite strange and honestly embarrassing. We have had about 4-5 off-field dramas in the past 12 months and have gone from a top 4...

I legitimately think the fact Ricky is coach is playing a part. He is extremely unpopular - if we had any other coach our support levels would rise to varying degrees.Canberra Milk wrote: ↑May 26, 2021, 11:47 pm The overwhelming consensus on Instagram is anti-Hoops. Why do people think this is a fresh leak? No one thinks it's possible Hooper already knew about the beach stuff from any number of other possible sources (including us). I just read on Fox that Hynes is looking for $1m/3yrs. If $330K a year is what he wants I think that is extremely reasonable and we should be having a fair crack at him.

George got what he deserved, he was playing games with the club. I don't believe for a second he could not train or play this weekend and I'm glad the club moved him on immediately. 10 years ago we would have let the tail wag the dog but not anymore which pleases me as a fan.

Credit to the club for putting the player first. They could have played hard ball. I believe we did all we could. This becomes an issue under employment law. If I had to guess, with NSW history, Ricky signs Mitchell Pearce to end of 2022 with 2023 in our favour And if that happened, to be perfectly honest - that would be the best possible outcome we could hope for. I personally don't see us ending up in that good a spot. Which is terribly sad after what...

Yeah the days of 3 rucks to set up an attacking play went out in 2019... You need players willing to do that from the middle and fit enough to offer repeated efforts.... Geez I’d love to sign Brandon Smith if it were possible...he ripped us apart. Perfect 9 and 13 rolled into one... I agree re: Smi...
