It isn't a contradiction at all IBG. I am saying that don't expect Carney to play like Andrew Johns after 6 games in first grade, or Zillman to play like Brett Kenny in his first grade debut. But have confidence that they will develop, they have extremely good potential, and if they live up to it, I...

My view is we should all start supporting these younger players, don't have expectations that are unrealistic, but also, have faith that they are going to be great first grade NRL players, and probably much more.

Can someone point me to the spot in this thread where anyone said that Jason Smith should be dropped for Zillman? no problem steven: Ive gone Zillman ... the only problem in that selection is Elliott. If fitness is a key indicator, exciting teenager William Zillman is well on target to make his NRL debut in 2006. A former Queensland 800m junior champion, Zilly led the way in testing at the AIS track this week. Asked to see how far they could run in 1 minute, Zilly covered an impressive 433m and ...

Carney has played a season in Premier League. It would be detrimental to his progress to have him dropped now. I have patience, but if it is Gafa keeping Zillman out of firsts, I can't see what long term benefit it is making him play "time" in PL. Especially as the Gold Coast will be wavin...

You guys have no patience. I can't understand why you want to undercut the young talent coming through our club, which is IMO, outstanding. Carney, Zillman and Herbert are all special players. We should be supporting them instead of undercutting them all the time. I am certainly not saying, throw th...

I think the new jerseys look great, not my preferred collar but the best of the 'collarless'. I never liked the v neck look.

The new polo shirts are great too... I just got the navy with the lime under the arms.
