so watching Sunday Night with Matty Johns, and see the suspended JWH playing NSW cup, I had no idea suspended players can player NSW cup, why didnt we give kris some game time under his belt, which now leads me to thinking he wont return in 1st grade and will start at cup I think JWH is only availa...

Re: A new Canberra Stadium
Canberra stadium is showing its 47 year old age. You’re a long way from the action, its old cement build makes it freezing in winter, even some of the below average Sydney grounds are much better for watching the game. Mr Barr has spent over a decade talking up a new stadium, but has spent no time a...

Woolford looked good in cup running from dummy half, engaging the markers and selecting the correct option. Noted it was just highlights but he would still be my first choice given the info we have available. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Woolford (to my eyes and ears) seems to be one of those...

Interestingly all the Village People were dressed up as the Policeman instead of the 5 other outfits.

I’ve long thought a simple rule would be the second marker has to place one hand on the middle of the back of the first marker. This would make it an easier checkpoint for the ref and create a basic habit for the players.NoMan wrote:I wonder how long they will get away with it for.

Penrith seem to have their second marker in a weird position in certain defensive situations. Keep an eye out for this.
Here’s an example. I have noticed it a few times.

Elliot as the captain comes back in when fit. But he’ll be under pressure if others continue to perform. That’s a pretty consistent approach made by clubs for over a century of rugby league.

Knight’s had some poor key players such as Ponga. But Safiti brothers and Frizzel were good.
But how poor was Adam Elliot. Really went missing when a tough hit up was required.

3. Fog 2. Hosking 1. Rapana Lots of deserved points. Had hope and the boys delivered. Hosking did have a bad miss late in the game so him and Whitehead may be a good decision moving forward. Continually talking about the same few teams and the same dozen players is what led to the slow demise of Channel Nine rugby league shows.
Fox seem hellbent on following the same path.

I would have had Woolford, but he certainly didn’t do himself favours in the last trial. But Levi better perform from week one. Hoppa or Schiller is a toss of the coin.
