Re: Las Vegas Raiders: Canberra puts hand up for blockbuster trip in 2025
If the Raiders go to Vegas next year I'll 100% consider going. I've been to Vegas twice already and I have to say I got serious FOMO watching them continually broadcast from the strip over the weekend. I'd need it to be NY to be tempted. You just go to New York the week before or after. I'll be add...

How does the use of that word, not have homophobic intent? I don’t have information on that in particular, but I have been told that Stuart is convinced he has a squad to compete for a premiership this season, injuries/suspension permitting. His ...

Looks like we're carrying over many of the same problems we experienced last season and the season before. We simply don't have the skill and guile inside the opposition 20 to capitalise enough on momentum we generate. A spine of Drinkwater/Dearden/Townsend/Robson isn't the best in the league, but ...

Fogarty will be a 31 year old halfback with maybe 100 career games under his belt. Significantly fewer than Sam Williams had at the same age. Not really. Sam Williams played a grand total of 107 NRL games by age 30. Barring injury, Fogarty will have close to that by the end of this year, prior to t...

There are always levers Botty. Will the black plastic bag CHN ultimately uses to clear out his locker have holes in it, or might it be a designer bag with a few goodies inside? Other clubs seem to manage these issues, surely we can. Of course you cannot seriously be suggesting that the club go abou...

Look, I did preface it by saying if Bot wasn’t referring to me then play on. I didn’t recall anyone else on here critiquing Stewart’s defensive efforts or capabilities and remember copping heat from some when I did, so “the shoe fit”. But now it’s just big old fair go it all.

I wasn’t referring to it. All good, I actually agree with your comment about people writing off Sanders, I'm talking about Botman's reference to criticism's of Chevy's defense as being people that "don't understand ball". Highlighting shortcomings in a player's game that they could improv...

I go on Facebook and see people say… I saw Sanders in the trial, there’s better options in the club at halfback now etc etc. This drives me to distraction! If Strange isn't selected at 5/8 he's our second or third best centre behind Timoko and maybe Kris. Certainly by the end of the year. He just needs some pace beside him. He reminds me of Jamie Lyon. Gee that’s a stiff take for Kris. Seb Kris has shown he’s a very, very good centre over the last 2/3...

Is there a limit to the number of rep games which discount a suspension? Playing devils advocate JWH and Kris' original suspension were reduced due to rep selection. If the All Stars game didn't count as part of Kris's suspension, he should have been allowed to play. He wasn't allowed to play, so then it should count.

Re: Raiders re-sign Pasami Saulo to end of 2026
Objectively, good signing for squad filler. Subjectively for the raiders, very unnecessary and premature for someone who averages 54 running metres a game. Vena Patuki-Case is contracted for top 30 in 2025. Peter Hola, Trey Mooney and Josh Papali’i are our off contract middles. I’m assuming Hola do...

It's perfectly fine to want guys like Mooney and Ata to be selected ahead of Guler and Saulo, i've been very vocal about my feelings on that too. Guler is a big marshmallow. Doesn’t run hard enough, doesn’t tackle hard enough. You’d struggle to create a highlight real for him after what, at least 5 years of first grade? Papa, Taps, and Horse lead the way every week. Time to move on from vanilla props like Guler and Saulo and give the next gen...
