Re: 2018 Rd 17 V Bulldogs: Game Day

I agree we were rubbish but at the same time when we lose games in those exact circumstances we still bag the team for being just as poor. Nobody suggests we deserved to win when the shoe is on the other foot. I agree. I was disappointed that Ricky bagged our team in the media - after a win!! I kno...

Not only do we put up with totally biased referees but we have to listen to fox commentators who can’t say one positive thing about the Raiders.

Im just glad this game isnt in Canberra. It’s freezing here - Im sure it’s going to snow!! Good luck Raiders! This is it - time to start winning (why didnt they think of this in Round 1??). I have faith in Williams to keep a cool head and do the right thing. Looking forward to seeing Liam Knight get...

Great to see the level of support for the team. So how about the team works out how to use their more than adequate talents to reward us with a few wins. Totally ironic to ‘celebrate’ reaching 20,000 by throwing away yet another close one. It feels like a big slap in the face to Canberra. Surely som...

It’s sad to see a talented bunch going so badly - they need a psychological coach along with a defensive coach. There is something wrong in the headspace department. We are watching insanity - doing the same thing over and over and hoping for a different result. One man is happy and that’s Sutton - ...

Jack Wighton.... stood down yet not convicted in court, NRL step in and make the decision he cant play. Thanks TW. The parking tickets were done through Eventbrite.
They just supply one invoice which seems to be a ticket as well.
There are no individual tickets for each home game. Im sure this create havoc with the people collecting parking money. I’ll be they havent been warned about this.

Canberra Raiders 2018 draw

I have often thought that the draw has a big impact on results. This is a good article looking at just this issue, acknowledging that it isnt the only factor: http://www.nrl.com/how-the-draw-shaped-your-teams-season/tabid/10874/newsid/112469/default.aspx Raiders had almost the toughest draw in 2017,...

I hope the Viking clap is so strong that Telstra tower wobbles (or should that be 'bobbles'?)
But the main thing is that the Raiders feel the power surging through them and the Panthers have fear put into their hearts.

I agree with your comments, GE. Sia is not a thug at all. He's a true gentleman. He is a clean player and that hit on Slater was clearly accidental.
