Re: Dugan rewards Raiders for their perseverance
I love the axe CJ and think about him often. Not night and day or in a weird way, but often. To be fair, a lot of people were pushing for Dugan to be blooded while Milne was still fullback. I do take your point though. I'm looking forward to seeing the axe carve up again, but the fullback position ...

playing rep footy while based in Canberra wouldnt hurt either. Hopefully Loz follows through and picks him for country. (assuming he's still coach)

My reaction to Todd Carney is neither booing nor applauding. I tend to just quietly shake my head. yep, sometimes followed by a long sigh... that sums up my feelings too :( X2 (or 3 or 4, whatever it's up to) yup, put me down as a 'me too', too. after his second or third piece of brilliance i tend ...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation
I think i have solved our halfback dilemma, get on to it donny boy :P **** yeah. We could implement the bomb and chase from our own 30 metre line and field goals from 40 metres out. Carter could do much more than that! closer to home, what about that Phibbs bloke -- the half who spends his life sit...

Signed a player directly from another NRL club... pretty sure you are right, Rodman -- had a quick look through all time list of players. thought maybe Costigan but he didnt play origin till he came here in ...

The team wins and McCrone gets his own 'congratulations' thread and the search is officially over. I'm sorry but that is complete Bull. In the same day I stated we needed an actual halfback and that Josh Lewis was a gun. **** typical./ It was more a commentary on the malleability of the GH, rather ...

that was just painful.
still, i'm hopeful when can go ok if we get the ridiculous number of mistakes out of our game -- hold the ball, show discipline, complete sets etc. i dont agree that our halves who were good last week suddenly have become rubbish.

i recall similar comments from the Titans last year before our game up there. Cartwright said he thought we were a top 4 side. all very good to hear but the fact is that they have to be massive favourites until we show some form away from Canberra.

i agree he had to go but it was pretty hard to take watching him have that blinder for the roosters. incidentally, i am pretty sure i heard Rabs say in commentary that it was the first time he had ever seen Carney play live. and he's been in the side since what, 2004? says a lot about how nine has t...

i reckon Inu would be a great signing. finals player/kiwi international. would bring experience to our three quarters. bad 2009 but quality player. probably just needs a change of scenery like Bronson. in answer to an earlier question, he could go to the Mormon church near Lyneham shops. i'm sure it...

agree that this is a rubbish decision.
wondering, if it can't be overturned, whether it might be viable to strengthen links to surrounding NSW even further by entering a NSW Cup team from Wagga or Goulburn?
have no idea whether this would be even remotely viable from a $$ point of view ...
