Re: Raiders star Corey Harawira-Naera cleared for return months after suffering on-field seizure
Great news. I assume he was on reduced training so it would be a while for him to get fit enough to play. Not sure what to make of that last line in the article either. Yea I doubt he's done much(if any) contact since , probably hasnt been able to really push it at anywhere near 100% aerobically ei...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2024
Not surprised by that at all I had heard last year the raiders were pushing very hard to get LL here before the deadline. Didnt end up happening, but its been reported now that my mail on that was spot on. So the fact we're consistently linked with him tells me the club really rates him as a player...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2024
Why the hell haven’t we reached out to Finefeuiaki or Luki is beyond me I think you'll find we did. We also asked about LL. Cowboys didn't want to make a decision, as all 4 are very good. LL made it for them. They'll keep they younger 3. Think it would be a very big coincidence LL asking for a rele...

Just on the sponsorship/branding debate the warriors major sponsor one nz(Vodafone in nz) has actually elected to remove there entire logo from the front of the warriors heritage jersey so as to keep it as close to the warriors original jersey design as possible

Re: Jamal Fogarty named Raiders vice captain for 2024
It makes sense for Fogarty to be vice captain. But in my view, it was also time to make Joe Tapine the co-captain. could be more about not throwing Tapine in the deep end with a very inexperienced spine? Maybe 2025 when we have figured a few things out and these young guys have a bit of experience ...

Re: Zac Hosking signs with the Raiders on three year deal from 2024
Agree guys. I imagine Hosking has gone from almost minimum wage to double or triple that. Personally, I think that’s fanciful. If true it would be an awful waste of the cap, but I can’t see the club doing that. And it wouldn’t even be necessary. You dont think he'd be on 300k or so? CHN was reporte...

So people blowing up in November because we maybe wanted to let Woolford go….Now blowing up because we want to keep him?? Who? Name them I dont think those people actually exist. Yet to see Levi get some games under his belt but he is a kiwi international at least and you don’t just walk into that ...

Re: Raiders reject request from Dragons to release Zac Woolford
While he's probably our best current option i Think some people are probably still remembering Woolfords 2022 when he was an attacking threat, his 2023 was very very average imo.

Re: Zac Hosking signs with the Raiders on three year deal from 2024
Don't expect him to be a superstar but we were in desperate need to get an edge this year, probably weren't too many realistic options, I think he can do a job and be a decent squad filler if he's being paid accordingly

Re: POLL: Strongest 2024 line up: Hooker
Woolford but I wouldn't be all that surprised if Puru ends up being our best 9 by the end of the year I'd be interested to know if he spends any serious time training there in the off season. It was trialled briefly last season but seemed to be abandoned before too long. The scope for a Havilii sty...

I'm fairly certain Stuart is going to hit 2024 with the following spine: 1. Kris 6. Weekes 7. Fogarty 9. Levi And this place is going to absolutely melt down. I don't think Kris will be fullback, i think the end of year when Rapana played there was a sign Stuart FINALLY understood what a disaster t...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2023
They've only just re-signed Luki, i reckon they would have known then they'd need a decent upgrade for Dearden at that stage, very unlikely a guy only resigned 6 months ago is the guy shaken free. Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2023
CHN is STILL the only edge forward we have on the roster, Young included, who actually creates space and freezes defenders with the threat of his edge lines. All our edge defenders are poor defenders, statistically CHN is no worse and yet he's got a genuine point of difference in our attack. But he...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2023
CHN at his best was a good hole running 2nd rower, that relys on having decent play makers. He didn't really have a lot else in his game. I reckon L Leilua is more a more rounded player, can hit a hole but is also more physical in terms of making yards etc, better tackle breaker, has a better offloa...

I'll be stunned if AFB doesn't end up a Rooster, they had a poor year by there standards and don't normally muck around if they think they need to improve(Cronk, SBW etc), I've been expecting them to make a significant move roster wise. They'll just release Suailii early who's going anyway and someo...

I'm happy to let him go and bring in a new face. Issue is who and who can work with Ricky. We need a fresh approach to the game. Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2023
Why are the Warriors letting him go? I can't imagine they have cap pressure. Would be salary cap related, not so much that they need the space, but with Jackson Ford playing so well and Niukuore locked in on the other edge they probably see better places to use his salary when he's only playing 20 ...

Yea i'm certainly not saying we should start Levi over Woolford , Just that with Woolford looking very average this year all our starting Hooker options are underwhelming .
Trevaliyan i think has the skillset if he can string games together.
