Re: Your predicted Canberra Raiders team for next year?

Forwards will naturally rotate as suspension, injury and rep duties call... but i cant see us being good enough to be using a rotation as staple policy. Play the best 17, and that should absolutely include Hors, Guler and Young Yep. Play the best 17.! That may or may not include Hors, Guler and You...

Watched the Fox sports special of every Jarrod Croker try ever. McCrone features in a lot of them in the early years.

Re: Your predicted Canberra Raiders team for next year?

It’s so important for the young forwards to realise that to get a first grade position they will have to out train and out play senior forwards like Papa, Sia, Lui and James. The young guys will either rise to a level they didn’t think possible or not be good enough. This is exactly how the best for...

Re: Raiders coach Ricky Stuart praises new NRL rule changes

I think we’re all in agreement, that current NRL is a very good game to watch. But unfortunately there’s still opportunities for some teams to come to game day and win the game through wrestling, slowing down the game play and attacking with flat passing and non stop block play football. I think the...

Actually I agree with you gergreg.

I think you have overanalysed my original post and added things I wasn’t actually saying. I want the type of fast ball movement you were mentioning. Storm do this better than us at the moment. We did it great in 2016 to 2018.

Re: Raiders coach Ricky Stuart praises new NRL rule changes

Commentators and NRL administration are confused about what they really want. speed of play the ball leads to dummy half running and flat passes at the ruck. What fans really want (and why late 80s and 90s football was so great to watch) is speed of ball movement. NRL is exciting when passing and r...

Sharks won with an ageing and experienced squad. I think that’s our best chance. Cotric was our only genuine superstar youngster.

It’s not like we are Roosters or Storm hoovering up the best young talent.

Jervis Bay will certainly be a tough call if NSW locks out ACT residents.

To get to the Canberra part of their territory, Jervis Bay residents will have to row down the eastern seaboard to Adelaide, up the Murray River and then up the Murrimbidgee River.

Re: Raiders making big bucks in property

Doubling in value in 10 years is about 7% p.a. Compound interest and all that. OK. Let’s say a property that has zero increase for 9 years and 100% in the tenth. Or went backwards in value for two years but grew a lot for the other years. I know Sydney house prices have doubled every decade or so, ...

Averaging 10% each and every year is pretty good growth expectations. You need to give us some tips on areas to invest in property.

Papalii and Wighton named in Kangaroos merit squad

Haas is a gun Not this season. Amazing player and amazing potential. As we saw for Broncos and NSW his statistical output hides flaws in his positioning, over chasing in defence and his impact when the game is to be won or lost. I would not have him in my Australian team this season. He’s too raw i...

The 6 again calls need to be reported by tackles gained, not as a raw count of how many you received.

If it’s on the first tackle it’s worth less than on the last.

Easy to create a % measure calculation of total tackles made.
