Re: 2019 Test Tonga V Great Britain: Teams and Game Day

That is a very good Tongan team. Rugby League would do well to find a way to encourage all players to represent their place of birth/heritage. It sucks that the Tongans have to take a massive financial hit to represent Tonga rather than Australia or NZ. Guys like Taumololo might be able to afford it...

Re: Ex Raiders... where are they now?

For many years Finch has spoken with great pride about his partying lifestyle. I’ve always considered it very irresponsible for media personalities like him and Fletcher to glorify these things. Given the potential for him to influence others and normalise this kind of behaviour, I don’t have a prob...

Re: Ex Raiders... where are they now?

A huge amount of sympathy and support for Mr Finch on Twitter and a lot of outrage about the picture being published. I also hope he gets the help he needs. I’ve always thought it disgraceful the way he and Fletcher joke about benders and glorify drug use. I hope that stops! I hope Brett finds a hap...

Is there anything to suggest he can’t tackle and catch? No - I’m a Simmonsen fan. I think he looks really good. I wouldn’t have said he was that quick but hope I’m wrong. I saw him run down easily in the 9’s but that maybe raises other questions. Perhaps he is very quick but needs to up fitness to ...

Simonsson and CNK are no slouches. Wighton is fast across the first 40metres too.
Not saying I’d keep pace with any of them but comparative to other teams these guys aren’t the quickest.

CNK is not eligible for Rookie of the Year. He had seven NRL games for the Warriors in 2017. Then I guess Bateman if he’s eligible (ie NRL rookie) and Hors if Bateman is ineligible. Bateman is not eligible. Voting on this one started today. This shows the list of eligible players: https://thegh.com...

True - they were never going to do much in the 9’s having picked the world’s largest team but they look ok in this match up if they have a crack.

First thoughts are Smith should be ahead of Hodgson, Papalii and Wighton are too low, CNK is too high. Judging by that overall list, there really does seem to be a dearth of talent in the NRL's playing stocks atm. Concur with all of that I’d agree with that - not sure if CNK gets in ahead of Bateman.
