Re: Joel Monaghan
I think his confidence has been really low all year and its affected his game. Being made the scapegoat for last years WC loss while Slater's brain explosion was conveniently overlooked and then watching the wolfman get away with two atrocious games in Origin and also escape getting hooked has broug...

Surely they wouldn't dream of it??? They have regained some form after we towelled them last time and winning form is good form going into the finals. I'm sure their players want to make amends for 56 - 0.
But an option between Storm and Titans

Re: Half back - Josh McCrone
IMO fans will give votes to terry even when he has an average game. 1- he gets a heap of touches 2- fans like him and know what he is capable regardless of form. Yes but he did have a blinder against the Titans. He had a decent game against Melbourne without starring. Either way he certainly didn't...

Just one? Agreed with most comments thus far, though I'm happy with non contested scrums because they were an absolute bunfight before. Games decided by referee's at scrums. Dogs like Elias milking penalties at scrums in the old days would be replaced by dogs like Ennis milking penalties every scrum...

The fact is Flanagan has had every opportunity to claim a first grade spot. Buttriss has only been solid since the start of the year and if Flanagan was playing the house down at Souths Logan he would have forced the change. The bottom line is he's been inconsistent in Qld Cup and not done anything...

Rugby Yawnion has made Tiquiri soft. When he switched he was a damaging ball runner who almost always got involved in the game. Over the past 12 months he has been more interested in his bank balance and his hair. He has shown 0 interest in his football. I wouldn't want him if he offered to play for...

The Canberra Times understands the Raiders are attempting to off load hooker Stuart Flanagan who has played just four NRL games since joining the club this season. I agree with the move because I think that Wadell is our long term option, but geez, Flanagan must have really pissed someone off. He w...

In the games Thurling has played recently his ball handling has been pretty poor. So maybe Dave wants him to get those mistakes out of his game by stopping him from being a ball player for the time being.

I think the real issue here is whether or not the Raiders should become an all headgear side - waddell was on win news tonight and if only I could get his phone number to invite myself around, I'd bring my own cheese sauce for that cawliflower ear. A bit off topic but the first player that came to mind that did nothing after leaving the Raiders is Steve Jackson. He put the icing on the cake in 89, left for big dollars and was injury prone for the rest of his career. Admittedly he wasn't actually a star for the Raiders but that try is legendary...

As much as I hate some of Goulds' rants, because as 'gangrenous' points out half the time he is wrong - like his calls to 'just award the try' or his 'we should just have touchdowns rant', but the game really needs somebody questioning where rugby league is headed and some of the rules of the game. ...
