can you imagine any other professional sports code that would allow it's star player to engage in a boxing event during the off-season? a lot of contracts prohibit players from riding motorcycles, going rock climbing, sky diving etc. I just think it's very unprofessional of the club to allow him to...

Wow Neville Costigan? Craig Gower? Matt Bowen? I've never seen Matty come close to a melee. It's like asking Chicka Ferguson to fight. Haas is a gun Not this season. Amazing player and amazing potential. As we saw for Broncos and NSW his statistical output hides flaws in his positioning, over chasing in defence and his impact when the game is to be won or lost. I would not have him in my Australian team this season. He’s too raw i...

The six again rule suits the referees and NRL perfectly, as it is all non transparent. No one knows why they’re given most of the time. The NRL hides the number of six again calls, by not reporting the statistics, and then pretend penalties have declined. It’s the same old same old. I don't agree. ...

He was pretty ordinary what I saw of him last year, but it takes a long time to get back to 100% after an ACL. A guy like Hodgson can get away with it somewhat, but a power back, reliant on speed and footwork will take much longer. I think he's worth the gamble, at the right price. Sent from my SM-...

Yeah - as much as I love Nico and wanted him to stay, I'm glad we stuck to our principles on this one. Widdop was playing really well until Hunt and Norman came in and stunk up the joint. His last season at Saints wasn't great injury wise and with a head wanting to go back to the UK but overall he has been a good player his whole career.

Add another two teams, then four teams eventually and play each other once. I think 25 rounds is too much. I watched just about every game this year and didn't get bored. I have in previous years when it has seemed like some teams didn't care whether they lost. Sent from my SM-G570F using Tapatalk

I thought the NRL was reducing the number of 5 day turn arounds. As you say we have 3 for season 2021: 24/4 v Cowboys then 29/4 v Souths. July will be interesting: 3/7 v Titans then 8/7 v Manly and 17/7 v Sharks then 22/7 v Eels. Looking at the 5 day turnarounds, Souths get one extra day, Manly als...
