Re: Canberra Raiders express interest in Kiwi superstar Shaun Johnson

Time will tell if there is a real chance of getting Johnson to the Raiders. I hope they do all the due diligence. They need a current health check up. He played 19 matches last year and 18 the year before with the Warriors. While the highlights packages are very entertaining there is never a low li...

Who is Jack's manager/agent? SFX sports. George Mimis's company, I think Paul Sutton is his manager. They manage a stack of talent. Also manages Doogz. Says a lot..... Re: Rapana returning to Australia with shoulder injury

Only argument I agree with there is that from a business sense it was our risk to take. Except that disregards our player responsibility and so should be moot. He was clearly busted and should have been hooked. And cooper cronk should not have been allowed to play in the grand final. But at the end...

Re: Rapana returning to Australia with shoulder injury

Totally agree GE, and i get the whole "build the game" thought with rep teams but to be brutally honest i prefer our boys not to be picked because i am over it. Re: Rapana returning to Australia with shoulder injury

This whole thing really bugs me. I get growing the game etc etc but the rep team medical/coaching staff need to be more responsible In both ata and jordan's cases they dislocated their shoulder and were allowed/expected to play on for most of the match. So a possible simple few weeks rehab turns int...

Re: 2019 Canberra Raiders draw

FTA coverage in 2019. Broncos 16, Roosters & Dragons 14, Bulldogs, Panthers, Wests Tigers & Rabbitohs 13, Storm & Eels 12, Sharks 11, Cowboys 10, Sea Eagles 6, Raiders 5, Knights 4, Titans 3, Warriors 1. Seems very little has changed since the NRL were supposed to have taken over this aspect. If an...

Re: 2019 Canberra Raiders draw

I think it would cover both games cat. The prices for one NRL game this year were incredibly expensive at Lang Park, and if the prices aren't decent, they can expect poor crowds on any day the Broncos don't play. Agree, 6pm twice in a row to start the season on a Friday night... and no Round 1 game...

Re: 2019 Canberra Raiders draw

That draw is shocking for the raiders in terms of crowds. The 6pm friday slot is a tough tough gig and especially 2 weeks in a row. Question about the magic weekend, wouldn't the ticket cover both games? If so that could be pricey, a "normal round" ticket there cost me a lot this year Sent from my S...

Garvey didn't play last week for Mounties... so unlikely. Sadly, he's not been considered for the whole season, and that is to the cost of the club. I am sure the club had its reasons, and i am sure they were the right ones Sent from my SM-G950F using The Greenhouse mobile app powered by Tapatalk

My squad this wk: 1. Austin - FB is a 2nd 5/8 in atrack anyway. In our top 3 support runners at the club. Allows him to inject himself at will. Doesn't need to defend in the line. 2. Abbey - coz with our injuries, we probably have to play him somewhere*. 3. Cotric* - if he passed at all against the...

The NRL needs to take a reasonable amount of blame for the salary cap fiasco. What kind of a professional sporting organisation doesn't set the next year's salary cap until the season is over? Players need to be signed. The clubs with the most players off contract would be most effected. Dont you r...

supporting the club also doesnt give you the right to continuously criticize and go against them.
