Re: Xavier Savage re-signs to end 2025

Battered Sav was pretty damn good today I must say. Our coaches have been consistent (which **** some of us) in giving the harsh reality that "he is young and learning" That's scary right, nobody is saying that about Suali etc. Anyway, Sav's improving at a great rate of knots and once that...

Re: 2022 Rd 20 V Titans: Game Day

I'm still pretty happy with this win, but I've been reflecting on the past few weeks a bit ...we have actually had some pretty crazy luck right? I'm nervous about these games "we should win" that are coming up. We don't seem to be able to score 'simple, clinical tries' like many of the oth...

Re: Canberra Raiders extend Ricky Stuart's contract to end 2025

By all means, produce a constructive, funded, sensible strategic argument on what you would do if you we re CEO and we'd be all ears. 😂😂 The inflated views of some of our fans, seriously. We are not in the top 8 now, nor have we been all year. We did not make the top 8 last year. Yet somehow we're ...

Pick your scope?

Name 8 current coaches you’d replace him with?

Sometimes it’s the coach, sometimes it’s the squad. We haven’t had a great time of late for a multitude of reasons.

During his tenure he has been amazing on average

Does anyone know who/what TPAs our players have?

I've never really understood why TPAs are semi-secretive, aren't they ultimately about a player individually promoting a brand?

Disappointing game, perhaps I'm so defeated that this one didn't really bother me all that much. The press conference looked a lot to me like "Xavier **** the bed and cost us the game, no need for me to say it, you all saw it" so Ricky just deflected instead of a public execution. Ricky sa...

Decisions like this, Shillo, and Campo, are why I will always ALWAYS have Ricky's back.

He is a brave, courageous man that makes incredibly difficult decisions that 99% of other coaches don't have the balls to make.

I find it equally cringeworthy when ex-NRL players look back on behaviours that should stay deep in the past with a fondness and pride that is just wrong. It’s worse when those same ex-players take a righteous view on the behaviours of current players that is significantly less than anything they g...

It blows my mind reading people try to compare 'behavioural standards' of general society 25 years ago to today's fully media trained, multi million dollar brands in their early 20s. It's just not like-for-like. Nor is Tyson and Tim Tszyu... The media coverage now is ten-fold, we have dedicated Rugb...

The only thing that confuses me about this deal is we'll be picking up part of his salary for 2022 and 2023

That hardly seems necessary for a $250k-ish winger?? But oh well

I for one am so happy Josh is staying.

He had a bit of a tough year after a knee reco within a team that played pretty terribly overall.

New strength and conditioning for him starting the off season early could do him absolute wonders

I'm very glass-half-full on this one, and happy :)
