Re: Coaching issues
I reckon their biggest problem is the pack(outised of AFB and Tohu) Last year Jackson Ford was playing the house down, this year he's been, well ****'s And i reckon Niukuore is a massive loss, last year he was so hard to handle such a massive threat outside johnson that meant defenders couldnt just ...

actually, here is Annisley - regarding the rule change. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LfY8RJY-ZiU Interesting. That's exactly what happened with Hudson then. Could hear Atkins call surrender The new rule stinks, but that is now the rule. New rule or not, When was the last time someone was penalis...

Rick's reverted to what he knows, grind ball, we have zero structure so probably more chance of keeping within 20 this way. I suppose he was never going to dump his two most experienced spine players in Levi and Starling despite how putrid they were with the other spine members available. Some of th...

Hookers really the only position that can make a significant difference imo. we'll see if Levi really was hooked or if Stuart just noticed he wasn't keeping up and gave him a breather(not keeping up after 20 odd minutes isnt nrl standard but i have a feeling Stuart will see what he wants to see in r...

BadnMean, with the young criticism, you’re right, he does an insane amount of scramble work but he is playing to 1/10th of what we have seen him play. He just isn’t delivering. A week or two in Reggies might wake him up. He is well below par atm. Yeah Youngs in poor form no doubt but i reckon our h...

Our best season overall recently but especially from our Hookers coincided with Ennis being a coaching consultant, I think he then went to Parramatta where Reed Mahoney and Parra looked very good, Sharks last year where they finished 5th and Manly this year(currently 4th)

We lost one player in the second half and as a result it looked like 7 players were playing a different position??? What the hell is going on with our interchange? Sandon Smith from the chooks is a guy I'd be keen to pursue as a 9. I’d go the other Smith That contract has been a disaster for them, he’s not played very well although I thought his last few weeks before I left were solid He’d be a big bet and one that could go wrong… but it’s a bet I’d make eyes...

Re: Ethan Strange re-signs with Raiders to end 2028
Cotric's problem is he went to Sydney/Bulldogs. He lost direction being away from Mum, didn't really fit in and worst the dogs training ( or his away from the club training with mansour etc) changed his shape and style. I've seen this notion thrown around quite a bit that the dogs move ruined his c...

I like schiller, have wanted him to see more first grade for some time but I kind of get why we wouldn't want to pay too much for him, I reckon his best position is right centre and the problem is he ain't better than matty Timoko so you wouldn't want to overspend. Also think Asomua's style and phys...

I am expecting to see SimiS named later today. That will be a good thing. I have been impressed with what he has produced so far in Green. Have to feel for ZacH though. I'm expecting Ata in the starting side, Simi on the bench. Ata was very good on an edge v Titans. He's a good footballer. yea hes ...

If we ever have a game officiated by Badger, hold down all day, have your hands all over the ball and know she will never make a call on the fly. So take the tackle before the bunker can fix her mistake. Except for, y’know, all the restarts and penalties she blew and the fact she got the majority o...

Last week were were awesome spreading the ball and creating space for our outside backs. This week we continually turned it back inside and didn't get any decent ball to our wingers. We all know HSS can get lost in defense at centre. Can't remember really testing him at any stage. I actually think ...

Honestly Whitehead can't just walk into the starting 13. Hosking's has been brilliant . He has to retain the right side 2nd row position. Smithies is our lock , which means Horse moves to the front row. Guler to drop out. We are developing into a good team , we have strong platform with our forward...

DWZ scored 21 tries last year, i'd be staggered if CNK didnt play a major part in at least half of those whether he got the TA for it is another matter.
Johnson is obviously a major factor, but so is the attacking structure(coaching)

Great competitive test match. Kiwis dropped catches killed them. think we offered something similar to get Tapine from Newcastle.
It is what it is for the Raiders. no one else is taking our money, established top tier halves would knock us back even if we doubled that offer .

Rapanas still the heart and soul of this team, was pretty good at fullback at the back end of last year too and didn't he win fans choice player of the year last year? I'm no Levi fan boy but Stuart was probably never going to toss him aside after only 120mins of first grade for the club.
I also think Woolfords form was very ordinary in 2023 and people are probably remembering his 2022 season
