Coastal, you don't seem to be having much of a rest post Ironman? Just keeping it rolling? That's impressive. How has training felt since the race? Kiwi, when is your marathon again? How is training going? I think I'm going to go for a marathon PB at Sydney in September. It'll be 4.5 years since I ...

Re: Canberra Raiders reportedly settle three year deal for George Williams

The whole team is deplorable atm it’s not just him not doing his job ftr Yea Wigan have some big problems at the moment, on and off the field by the sounds of it, i’m not sure anything should be read in to his form at the moment, a bit like Nathan Cleary , just because the panthers are going rubbis...

Re: NSW Origin team

I think it’s madness to drop Cleary... he and Keary are our best shot of having a stable halves pairing capable of leading the blues for at least the next 3-4 years. Agreed with you 100%, Boney. But god I hope the nsw selectors agree with the rest of these clowns. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk H...

Re: John Bateman reportedly back two weeks earlier than expected

Not surprised, he looked as good as gold a couple of weeks ago in a couple of pics I saw on Twitter, must have had a good surgeon, it must have only been a week or two post surgery but you wouldn’t have known he’d had anything done, must be keyhole I assume? Still would have expected some scarring etc

Re: 11, 12, 13

Whatever the answer is, I'm not a fan of the second row shuffling idea just for the sake of giving both Bateman and Tapine time on an edge. I think it was a good idea while Tapine was injured to get Young some time on the field at second row but I'd prefer less positional disruption on the edges at...

Not only is Bateman the best man for the middle, he also plays his best football in the middle , and prefers it there, he’s said as much himself. And Tapine and Whitehead both play their best football on the edges and prefer it there. This one isn’t rocket surgery, it’s strange to me that it’s even...

Re: 11, 12, 13

Defense wins games/competitions, that's been at the forefront of our good start this season so i'm picking the two best edge defenders first, Bateman and Whitehead are two of the best edge defenders in the game and your edges are generally where you can save the most tries/points, I also think the t...

i don't think i'd pick Croker but he's a better option than a few names that are being thrown about, I mean if your picking Josh Morris ahead of him because of his defense you should probably have a look at his effort on Brendan Elliotts try this last weekend, Yes he made Brendan fricken Elliott loo...

Re: 2019 Rd 10 V Rabbitohs: Game Day

I honestly have no idea how people have Tarps in the middle and Bateman on the edge. Bateman has proven he plays just as well up the guts and Tapine is CLEARLY an edge player. I reckon Batemans form was slightly better on the edge compared to the middle though he's a gun wherever he plays, but I re...

I think they are pretty close performance wise but playing different spots. Horsburgh got luck with one ptb but he hasn't had an error since the Titans game and only 2 penalties since the Storm when Ricky called him out on it. I think the worries on his discipline are a bit overstated. As I mention...

Re: 2019 Rd 9 V Roosters: Game Day

Genuine question, PigRickman. Late in the game - at a very crucial stage in the game - Cronk kicked on the last. The ball ricocheted off Croker's back, Roosters regathered, we tackled, and it was ruled six again because Croker was alleged to have played at it. (With his back.) Are you suggesting th...

I don't see Warriors being keen to let Green go, but yeah I'd take Green at 7 Theyve signed nikorima on an oddly large deal and really cant afford to keep harris tevita in reggies given the talent he has. Green in last year of his deal Greens contracted to the end of 2020, they signed Nikorima beca...

We've got to stop with this mentality of "topping up" contracts. That's the precise reason the Raiders never, ever have any space in the salary cap. Spare space in the cap should be used to retain players we really want to retain who are off contract.

I don't care either way, nice 40/20 from Williams but aside from that he did nothing. He was barking orders at Hodgson during breaks in play but he doesn't run the ball and Hodgson seems to either go with forward hitups or out to Wighton. How our halves play has more to do with Ricky's unimaginativ...
