I think I’m following you BnM…. I am enjoying him play good football on the TV every week. You are all upset about that and then there is a B…. Nah you're upset Billy. Which part of the most tries and most line breaks conceded by a hooker in 2024 is the good football? I'm having trouble following y...

I would also like to add my voice to the deafening chorus of folks acknowledging what a wonderful season Danny Levi is having and note that he is becoming a very good player for us. He is almost- but not yet- approaching Adam Elliot levels of actual competence. BUUUUUT still a ways to go- stop runn...

Letting him go - are we thinking it’s purely down to money, other players being preferred, or other issues (insert unfounded character assassination here).

Re: 2024 Round 6 v Titans: Game Day
Yeah all the media has been about how “Des was right”. Um no, Ricky was right. The Titans got away with 28 unpenalised sets to our 10. They weren’t hard done by at all. And Chevy wasn’t offside! Annesley clearly missed the fact that the Titans play the ball was 11m out, not on the 10m line, so Chevy...

I feel like Saulo has either been told (or realised himself) that there are some young guys gunning for his spot. Guler has been dropped, so if he didn't start providing a bit more impact he could suffer the same fate. He's certainly playing with more noticeable intent the last few weeks.

He wasn't even offside, Badger was 1m further back than she should have been. Badger didn’t think he was offside or she would’ve called it. I’m with The Nickman. She did a good job. Re: 'We definitely 1 million per cent want to keep Trey': Raiders keen for Mooney to stay
Trey has a big choice to make and this is where we see if he has the right people advising him. The raiders won't get into a bidding war for him, and nor should they. He can take big dollars at another club with the high risk of blowing it ( Boyd/Titans, Cotric/Bulldogs , Sutton/Bulldogs, Both Lee ...

I agree. I don’t rate Schuster. Has the occasional good pass or ballsy chip and chase which comes off, but 99% of his game is trash. Fat, lazy, injury prone.

I think Mooney needs to be starting to get the best out of him until he is more comfortable with his position in the side. I also think this would be best for the team. The Dogs desperately need a front rower, but if they’d signed him I don’t reckon Ricky would play him in firsts.

Actually that’s exactly what he said - “We played well tonight”. But then he went into a bit more about it being a professional performance and not getting frustrated, so he was hopefully just referring to dealing with the Titans cheating.

Re: 2024 Round 6 v Titans: Game Day
I’m just annoyed that Badger was probably dropped for not being harsher on Canberra and missing the “offside” charge down, rather than being dropped for not being harsher on the Titans and sin binning them. At least that was the vibe Annesley gave in his presser. Focussed on the nil offside calls ag...

Ricky was quoted saying he thought Mrs Badger had done a good job. In hindsight maybe she didn’t. Winning the game put Ricky in a better mood than Des. Annesley making a huge deal about a player just one metre offside in Golden Point isn’t good for his inexperienced female referee and also for all the referees who’ve let go much worse decisions go across the history of Golden Point games. Why single out her decision in such detail, choosing the ex...

Re: Parramatta Eels still hoping to hold onto Raiders target Ethan Sanders
Here is an interesting thought 3 way immediate swap deal. Lomax released to the Eels, Sanders to the Raiders and Woolford to the Dragons. Would this be in the Raiders best interest? We have 4 middle of the road hookers, but little halves depth. It's not really a benefit to us. We get Sanders sure, ...

Re: 2024 Round 6 v Titans: Game Day
Actually I had a thought about the charge down. Penalty for the charge down is 6 again. Let’s say it gets blown. Foran is still taking that kick and Chevy is still charging it down. Then Titans knock on. Then it’s Raiders ball. Nothing changes the outcome here even if it’s called offside. Chevy is ...

Re: Coaching issues
Not to forget we had a first game fullback and a 5/8 with all of 5 games of NRL experience. Easy to blame the coach for not playing rookies and then when we run out with a backline that average 21 years old, except for Fogarty, we blame the coach because the backline looks clunky under pressure. Ho...
