Re: 'We definitely 1 million per cent want to keep Trey': Raiders keen for Mooney to stay

At 21 Papa was eating too many big macs and not able to do big minutes. He certainly wasn't showing the potential he has reached Correct me if I'm wrong ( I know you all will) Taps at 21 was struggling to fit in to the team in Newcastle and even find his groove in the NRL I think the best thing tha...

Re: 'We definitely 1 million per cent want to keep Trey': Raiders keen for Mooney to stay

I think Mooney needs to be starting to get the best out of him until he is more comfortable with his position in the side. I also think this would be best for the team. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Haha, there are a few problems with our team but middles aren’t one of them. This is madness😄 W...

Are there concerns he’s the next Luke PAGE? Dominant at cup level but can’t cut it in firsts?

The Dogs desperately need a front rower, but if they’d signed him I don’t reckon Ricky would play him in firsts.

Actually that’s exactly what he said - “We played well tonight”. But then he went into a bit more about it being a professional performance and not getting frustrated, so he was hopefully just referring to dealing with the Titans cheating.

Re: 2024 Round 6 v Titans: Game Day

I’m just annoyed that Badger was probably dropped for not being harsher on Canberra and missing the “offside” charge down, rather than being dropped for not being harsher on the Titans and sin binning them. At least that was the vibe Annesley gave in his presser. Focussed on the nil offside calls ag...

Ricky was quoted saying he thought Mrs Badger had done a good job. In hindsight maybe she didn’t. Winning the game put Ricky in a better mood than Des. Re: 2024 Round 6 v Titans: Game Day

Annesley making a huge deal about a player just one metre offside in Golden Point isn’t good for his inexperienced female referee and also for all the referees who’ve let go much worse decisions go across the history of Golden Point games. Why single out her decision in such detail, choosing the ex...

Re: Parramatta Eels still hoping to hold onto Raiders target Ethan Sanders

Here is an interesting thought 3 way immediate swap deal. Lomax released to the Eels, Sanders to the Raiders and Woolford to the Dragons. Would this be in the Raiders best interest? We have 4 middle of the road hookers, but little halves depth. It's not really a benefit to us. We get Sanders sure, ...

Re: 2024 Round 6 v Titans: Game Day

Actually I had a thought about the charge down. Penalty for the charge down is 6 again. Let’s say it gets blown. Foran is still taking that kick and Chevy is still charging it down. Then Titans knock on. Then it’s Raiders ball. Nothing changes the outcome here even if it’s called offside. Chevy is ...

Re: Coaching issues

Not to forget we had a first game fullback and a 5/8 with all of 5 games of NRL experience. Easy to blame the coach for not playing rookies and then when we run out with a backline that average 21 years old, except for Fogarty, we blame the coach because the backline looks clunky under pressure. Ho...

I hate updates when they aren’t real updates. “Breaking news! Injury update! We’ll get scans and wait for the results to see how bad it is!”

In other words no more info than we already knew when it happened.

(Not a criticism of you GE, just these injury update releases in general)

Annesley highlighting as good news that close games are a positive always concerns me. It’s also been referred to by referee officials previously as a benchmark of referee success. This is what leads to a change in the way referees make calls when one team is down by ten points or more. Too many ga...

I don't even agree with Annesley that Stewart was offside. He was in front of the goal line, but the Titans player was behind the 10m line. The ref made the 10m too big. He was 10m back from the play the ball.

Raiders gunna get smashed by the refs moving forward, based on Annesley's presser. Do you blokes really think we will win every game by 30? Even when Penrith was the most dominant team in the comp, teams would "get up" for it and they'd barely eke out a win sometimes, especially against some of the bottom teams. The Titans were winless which means if you think about it ...
