Re: Canberra Raiders want five-year deal into new Civic Stadium

For a start... 25,000 is too small. It needs to be 30,000 if we are to remain a Preliminary Final venue. Second point... why relocate the stadium from Bruce... to the far edge of Canberra! Isn’t the whole idea of relocating to bring it into the centre of the city... where there’s bars, clubs etc ar...

Re: Jack Wighton turns down option for 2021 to go on open market on November 1

We’re just lucky we have a known great negotiator in Don Furner handling all this. He seems to be well in control. Here's something to think about: we haven't had any confirmation that Sezer has signed a contract with Huddersfield or that Canberra have released him. What is confirmed is we are gett...

I wish the Aussies were playing GB. Would have been beautiful seeing all our Raider Poms playing our Raider Aussies.
Great Britain sides don't tour very often, so I'm disappointed for all the Kangaroos players.

Yep, just got mine, too. Not a fan of the cap being navy. It should be bright Raiders green, and then Canberra Stadium would be a sea of green! 100% agree with you on the colour of the cap skater. It should be Lime Green. The Grand Final looked sensational as vast sections of the Stadium were lime ...

Re: 2020 membership pack

A Raiders football signed by each member of the 2020 squad. When they win the comp, it will be worth something. A great memorabilia piece that won't cost the club an arm and leg to provide. Get onto it, Don Jr. Back in 2007, the Brumbies and Gilbert produced an limited edition full-sized Union ball...

They will have a different attitude in 2020 to what they did in 2017. Back then, I posted an article on sports psychology that dealt with a US NBA team that had made the title play-offs. It was a huge achievement, but lost. The following year, players behaved as though they had won and carried on as...

With injuries and age taking their toll on him, I reckon he's maybe got one or two more good seasons left in him. If he goes to Union, he might have five or six. Latrell Mitchell gets the nod ahead of Croker who was a sentimental favourite to be picked. Thurston grilling Robinson about his thoughts on the six again call. Robinson got pretty cranky and didn’t want to talk about it. Must take the gloss off a win when you know such a terrible decision played a big part in it.

Will Barr be at the game to see we need a new stadium in person? Or do you reckon he'll be in Melbourne trying to justify the money spent on GWS?

I also tip Burgess to do something that sees him suspended again. Souths aren't the same side without him there.
