Re: 2024 Round 8 v Sharks: Game Day
I can’t get over the fact there were Raiders pundits parading around gloating and acting as if they were vindicated about their “Levi Island” bs on the basis of about 3 games where he wasn’t complete trash. In all seriousness though, who was padding around gloating about Levi that wasn’t either a b...

Re: 2024 Round 8 v Sharks: Game Day
Pretty wild how a coach can coached 500 games and just never bother being that fussed about learning how to coach a team to attack in the 20m zone.
It’s a pretty bloody essential part of the game but he just doesn’t seem fussed. It’s always like an afterthought.

Re: Hooker for 2025 and future years
Our hooker stocks are dire and they make me sad. Number one action item should be the banish Starling to cup. He offers nothing and our attack becomes even more cluttered and disorganised when he comes on. Number two action item is to get Woolford in there. He is no world beater but he is the best o...

Dogs do look improved and tbh so they should be. They have bought a substantial amount of rep talent over the past couple years in JAC, Crichton, Kikau, Burton, Mahoney etc and it was probably overdue they started climbing up the ladder.

Don’t understand how even rubbish teams can make it look so effortless in attack and carve us up meanwhile all we can manage is scrap and grind and toil. To be clear Broncos aren’t a rubbish team, just making the point that even for example the Titans last week looked more polished in attack than we...

One of those games. Young team, it's a thing. Need to get back to the fundamentals in defence. Win the second half. Sent from my CPH2021 using Tapatalk Exactly. This happens to every team with kids in the spine. Hardly worth getting angry about. I’ll take one of these. I’m not stoked with some of t...

Re: 2024 Round 7 v Broncos: Game Day
I have seen a little more promise in our attack this season than previous years but on current evidence we are still a fundamentally conservative side without enough variation in attack to trouble the better sides. I appreciate we are a work in progress though. And I am a bit troubled by how easily ...

He seems to have slipped under the radar a bit with the great form of Timoko and the rise of Savage, Strange etc... But I am looking for a big game from Seb Kris. If Barr is re-elected there is very little doubt in my mind we will be here in April 2028 on page 272 of this tread having this exact same discussion.
This whole thing became a farce many many years ago and the bloke is simply not engaging in this issue in good faith.

They say that the sign of good teams is winning when you don’t play well.
I am not sure that is us yet but maybe it is a matter of this very young team will have its ups and downs and managing to convert the down periods into wins is a bonus.
