Re: Ricky Stuart banned for seven days and fined $25,000 for press conference comments
Chiming in to add my admiration for the work GE and anyone else involved in the running of this site does. I don't post often but am an avid reader and find this place to be one of the best supporter sites I've come across. I certainly don't think the team you support should be above your own critic...

😎 pureblood for life. So it's a short term commitment, then. That 99.97% survival rate looks fine to me. Yeah I'd say so, that's why it's frustrating, as it seems to be the stance of every practice in my area.
As RedRaider says I'll just have to keep trying though. Maybe there's a black market somewhere I can hit up

I have to say I think its pretty sad seeing some of the comments on here. Its honestly no wonder men's mental health is such an issue. There's every chance people are reading a bit too much into this tweet. None of us were there today, none of us know what's happening inside his head. He could well have gone into the meeting, been told an immediate release is granted and the paperwork is ready tomorrow, so he's technically signed n...

Re: Through green eyes 2021
I think people might be open to that interpretation if the bench ‘strategy’ didn’t bring virtually every single debutante (or even just whoever he considers to be #17 in the team) on for 10 minutes at the end of games regardless of what has gone before in the prior 70 mins. This. Stuart was only ev...

Re: 2021 Rd 11 V Storm: Game Day
I'm not the NRL's mouthpiece. But I can see that they are not going to change dramatically. Our team either adapts or we will suffer. It's not difficult to understand. No disagreements there, if these are the rules then yeah our team does need to adapt. I still disagree with the NRLs view, all good...

Re: 2021 Rd 11 V Storm: Game Day
Its obvious why the NRL has done this, and its got nothing to do with player safety or declining junior numbers or whatever other propaganda they have come out with lately. GE is spot on about this administration, zero thought, shoot from the hip all the way. These rules suck, V'Landys sucks, the N...

Re: Josh Hodgson stands down, Elliott Whitehead appointed co-captain
Not supportive of going all out for Hynes. Lockyer recently made the same point I made last week. Promising Storm halves are notorious for failing at their next club. Moving CNK for Hynes or Dufty has to be without doubt the stupidest suggestion I have ever observed. CNK has played fullback for us ...

Re: This is not rugby league
Yeah we should just keep trucking along with players allowed to smash other players in the face when tackling them. Sure it should have been brought in over the off season but it's here to stay so we need to adjust and really it is for the betterment of the game in the longer term. Allowed to? When...

Re: This is not rugby league
I think the rule changes have been crap for the most part. I'm on board with finding ways to protect players from head injuries (although I don't agree with the way they're going about it) but I'm not at all down with what they've done to "speed up" the game / attempt to make it more exci...

Pre season youd mistake that for our NSW cup team barring one or two spots.
At least its the night game Saturday so ill have plenty of time to get properly tanked before the inevitable. Go the boys.

Re: This is not rugby league
I don't think anyone would suggest that players shouldn't be protected from head injuries. The thing is though the game is already doing that. High shots have always been penalised and particularly bad or deliberate ones were sin bins/send offs before as well. Then in recent years the HIA rule has b...

Re: 2021 Rd 10 V Bulldogs: Game Day
Today could go either way. It could either be one of our darkest days in Raiders history or a spark of light to kick the team into the rest of the season. I’m hoping the latter. I also have extremely bad luck in betting so I’m going to put $10 on the doggy’s to win to consolidate the chances of win...

hypothetically we lose Tapine, George, Hodgson and Croker in 2022 that's what 2.4m? Brandon Smith? Jayden Sua? Cotric? A decent half? Surely we could buy 2 needle moving players Sent from my SM-G991B using Tapatalk https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210514/9afdff9c5261ea4ea649e6d4727780f1.jpg Sent ...
