Re: 2022 Rd 22 V Dragons: Game Day

Listened to the game on a long drive.

Just watched the highlight of the last 90 seconds… timoko is wildly out of place and jogs back causing the final line break - kris comes from the other side to smash him.

Kris is vastly underrated by a lot of people on here - he is a smart talented footballer.

Re: Canberra Raiders set to offer four year deal to Joe Tapine

What’s interesting is whether it’s 4 years on top of this year or another 4 years.

Another 4 years is ridiculous.

Tbh I don’t see us doing much with whitehead / croker on the books and lacking the quality that we would otherwise have…

Re: 2022 Rd 21 V Panthers: Game Day

I’m not going into the coaches comments because who knows the history there. But that was really a disgraceful action. Honestly rugby league is a game and sometimes people seem to forget that there are limits to the physicality… lashing out with kicks is dirty.. it just shouldn’t happen.. especially...

Re: SURVIVOR POLL VI: Top ten greatest ever Raiders

I also voted Papalii I'll be very curious to see how he goes next time this excercise is conducted, he's likely going to leave us without being a premiership winner (not through lack of trying, he carried us in many key spots in that 2019 run) and how that impacts his legacy when its put to the tes...

Re: Moving forward to 2023 and beyond

Next year we will go as well wighton does.

That is a worrying thought.

The biggest issue I have with our attack is the use of starling.

He should either be on in the middle period or not used at all.... also he needs to get width on his passes.

Re: Ricky Stuart says he’ll never again coach against the Canberra Raiders

Ricky is the best coach we have had in decades. I for one hope he stays around until he retires/wins a premiership. Anyone who doesn't rate him is kidding themselves. There was a time we had Matt Elliot as our head and he brought in a pack a day smoker 2nd rower to play 5/8 and that was one of his ...

Bias Origin commentary (on both sides) has been a thing for channel 9 for as long as I can remember and to be honest, I don’t mind it.
