Re: Coaching issues

The thing that Jack’s me is in that win there is a perfect opportunity to exploit it for extra possessions. St George got 3 possession out of Short kick off 40 20s We didn’t even attempt 1 When we accidentally have a mid range kick off we let the ball bounce over our blokes heads back to the dragons...

Re: Canberra Raiders join race for Matt Dufty

The team does have horrendous structure in attack and i think we'd be bottom of the league in moving bodies on backline movements, but to hand wave CNK's ball playing and say it that, just simply doesnt wash. Because we've seen since CNK left that with the same handicaps in structure and shape and ...

Re: Canberra Raiders wild cards in race for Matt Dufty

My concern about CNK in the centres is the difficulty he has with a draw and pass, and the seeming inability to do the tip-on pass. Two crucial aspects of centre play. Add to that the tendency to run diagonal cramping his outside, instead of straight (which would aid the draw and pass). To me he's ...

Re: 2022... The up sides

IMO we need a new attacking coach first and foremost. It's just deck chairs on the Titanic otherwise. Obviously we need our ruthless defence back too, but a lot of that gets fixed when CNK returns and we've moved on the six or seven "bad eggs"... this... and fitness we have a half decent ...

Honestly this thread is outdated with reality.

The game won’t exist if it continued down the head bashing trajectory in 20 years.... you just won’t get kids playing it..

Great move and I hope they stick to it, any head contact should be a penalty.

We try and place to much pressure on ourselves to get the result. Sometimes you can’t control the result. We played all of yesterday’s second half trying not to lose, no joy in the footy, no intensity in attack or defence, just trying to slow it down hoping 16 would be enough when we all knew it was...
