Re: 2024 Rd 4 v Sharks: Teams and Previews *Teams p1
Some of the analysis on our best wing options that is occurring here is quite outstanding but the credibility of it all is a little shaky when it is being put forward by folks who until recently were vehemently defending Crabtric position in the team. Has anyone ever told you that you’re quite the ...

All I’ll say is both of those No Try decisions were incorrect.
There’s the 8 points right there.
I’ll leave the rest until I’ve calmed down a little.

Liam Kennedy has been best on field for the Warriors. Absolutely diabolical refereeing.

Yeah it looks like Guler knows he’s on a knife edge when it comes to staying in first grade. He’s playing well.

Re: 2024 Round 3 v Warriors: Game Day
I thought the interpretation was that as long as the ball never comes away from the arm, it’s a try. Given that the ball never once came away from Strange’s arm, why was that not a try? They’ve been consistent with it all last year. Has it changed again? We were holding on for the first 25-30 minute...

I’m not convinced Kris will be straight back in at all. It’s been a while since he’s played, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Ricky sends him to NSW Cup to get some match fitness for a week or two first.

Re: 2024 Round 1 v Knights: Game Day
Smithies went off for a short time in the first half. Was that a HIA? They didn't announce any of the Raiders changes at the ground. Guler was put on report for a hip drop tackle. From where we were sitting there didn't look much in it. Was it more conclusive on TV? Any news on Levy's hamstring? He...

It won’t all pay off but that is where I’d like to see us become a little more ruthless in turning players over. Some positions we need to be patient and give players time to develop but I worry we sometimes hold on to some guys far too long only to see them reach modest heights. The likes of Valem...

Re: 2024 Round 1 v Knights: Game Day
The attack still isn’t asking enough questions. We’ve had enough ball in their 20 that we should probably be up by about 10.
Need to score first in the second half. If we don’t, I fear we’re done.

All the Levi/Woolford/Starling stuff is just tinkering around the edges - it doesn't matter who starts, based on performances they're all roughly the same. Woolford has had his moments but I don't think they've been so good that he automatically has a mortgage on the starting job, and if the trials...

Glad to see there's a thread on this. Noel was an absolute gentleman, who has had a profound impact on the game in our region. Whenever we talked, you could see the passion he had for rugby league. While you could question some of the decisions he made as CRRL chairman, you could never question his ...

I haven’t been here for a while, so I had to check if my phone had cached a version of the site from 2012 when I saw this thread.
But no.... this is an actual thread. In 2019. On the largest Raiders supporters forum in the world.
That’s outrageous.

Re: Aidan Sezer
I can forgive a kick out on the full. Yes it cost us but the defensive lapse cost us more.
But I can’t forgive going to Papalii on the last twice, the second one because Sezer decided to take a hit up the play before.
He’s had too many chances. Time for a change.
