Re: 2020 State of Origin III - Teams and Game Day

Ponga is also a Queenslander and probably walks back into the Maroons Number 1 jersey Not picking actual centres is such a NSW thing to do, Ponga doesn’t even belong in this debate You're right about NSW not picking actual centres but QLD started a second-rower at centre and he did well. It depends...

Re: 2020 State of Origin III - Teams and Game Day

Surely pointing out that Ponga and Tom T are still to return only highlights the issue. NSW already tried to shoe-horn too many play-makers in (hence Wighton and Gutho in the centres). With Ponga and Tom T available, how do you fit them all in (yeah, drop Gutho, but still...)? Actually, personally ...

Re: 2020 State of Origin III - Teams and Game Day

I thought Freddy had a NSW contract to coach SOO next year. Other than the first match the games were decided once a key playmaker was taken out of the game. No one called Bennett a genius after the 2nd match. Both sides were missing some fine players players before the series began. Pongia and Tur...

Not a bad effort by *checks notes* the worst Queensland team in history still think they're barely a club side but they did a job on a nsw team that just thought they had to turn up to win Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk I’m glad you thought that because I never had a doubt we’d win this serie...

Nickname you could say that about any demographic, if you think 35% of Muslims voting for Trump sounds about right would you also consider 12% of blacks voting for Trump to be right also, both have been maligned but they both also fall into the different groups you mentioned. I'm saying it's more c...

Re: The Politics Thread 2020

There are a wide variety of Trump voters, the inbred, 1%ers, the evangelicals, the one that surprised me most though was seeing 35% of American Muslims voted for him. Which means 65% didn't. Sounds about right to me, Since they’re a much maligned group by Trump and the right I would’ve expected muc...

I don’t think Trump has it in him to throw a coup or actively incite violence. Chuck a hissy fit - yes. Not denounce someone if they do get violent - yes. But I just don’t think him actively leading anything violent is in him. I think he’ll tantrum to the very end, but ultimately will go. Yeah, tha...

Re: The Politics Thread 2020

I think it's highly more likely that Trump clings on for dear life, but eventually hands over begrudgingly after placing enough doubt in enough people's minds about the validity of the election. Biden then gains the Presidency. Trump then goes away and buys his own media company, spends the next fou...

By my latest calcs, Biden needs 61% of the remaining vote in each of North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Georgia.

At the rate all of the final votes are coming in blue, this seems entirely plausible to me.
