Re: Let’s get behind Erin Molan
Yeah it doesn't start with ignoring the problem (trolls). Definitely starts with people being taught not to be a jackass and think it's fine. If we just ignore those trolls still grow up to be trolls and never held accountable. Anyone remember the football (soccer) world cup? Lucy Zelić did an excel...

Re: Let’s get behind Erin Molan
How about people being taught to be brought up as decent humans? Instead of ignoring trolls until they go away? Sadly this kind of reaction against Erin Molan is not surprising (but not excusable) when a female has entered a league and environment that has continually swept rape, domestic violence, ...

Contemplating options. Great northern is nice with the beer garden big screen. Silverlake social has an advertised event for it which might mean there is some kind of crowd. Outside of that I am not sure where else.

Great Northern is also very good for sport. Beer garden with a big screen and also one inside and about another 8 screens throughout the pub. Top selection of beer too which is great to be drinking something tasty while watching.

Anyone else thought about how epic and intimidating it would be to have an organised Viking clap mid game at a tense moment to help the team win? From what I gather fans randomly do it mid game but the whole stadium doing it would be so epic!

Re: Kurt Baptiste to return to Canberra Raiders
Baptiste was great. However this is a bad move i feel with Havilii having shown he is a good signing and more suited to playing in the pack. Moving Hodgson out of position is just ridiculous to give Baptiste a run. You don't see the Storm moving Smith to accommodate a fringe player.

Looking at tickets now. Wondering where is best to sit so i am not completely swamped by storm supporters.
Considering category 1 or 2 tickets which is Bay 30, 71, 72 or 5, 7, 25, 26 or 29. Anyone know if there is some Raiders supporters in those bay's?

Not sure if this has been brought up in other threads before. Am i the only one who doesn't like the Hodgson to lock once Baptiste comes on? Yeah madness really. He didn't offer much at 6 last year, and to his credit it was a new role for him. But with the stories of him finally settling on a position and then shift him to a totally new position as a stop gap is rather worrying. I am all for doing whatever it takes to make sure we make t...

Wighton to halfback?!? I think we are more chance of losing with him at half than Cornish. Looks like no organisation in attack is the plan. This feels more like a shift to accommodate Leilua than a genuine attempt to fix the halves.

Just reading this reminded me of how Stuart and Clyde where let go in favour of a youth policy. And it sure sucked having to see them play for another team. My point was. If it really was Furner that was the issue. Then perhaps Dugan stays. Ferguson doesn't destroy his career, and then maybe we also retain milford. It's like the alternate timeline in back to the future 2 were everything has turned to ****.

I can't help but feel that cruisergate has unraveled the entire club. Either that or the players are just selfish and accountless. Would it have been different if the players didn't like Furner and he was gone before cruisergate? Oh well i guess what if's count for nothing now.

Oh hell yeah! Just watched the game via the overseas internet stream. The game had this feeling of us coming home strong for a win but seemed we blew it until big Vaughn sliced them open! One of the best wins in a long time! Hopefully this is the momentum we need to kick start a few wins in a row!

Re: When did obvious forward passes become "flat"?
You're right. It was early in the match when the Knights scored of what looked like a forward pass for sure. I think it was Dobson who passed it. And then they showed the try replay from every angle but the one that would have exposed the call.

So call me the eternal optimist, but no matter how **** our seasons have been over the past 10 years i always had hope that we would make the finals. Some years it came to fruition, others it didn't. This has made me think we are in some kind of situation like Back To The Future 2. It make me wonder if Furner was sacked/quit/stood down some sta...

So over this circus. Clearly Mundine has poisoned him and now its a media field day. Let him sign his big dollar Sydney contract and then hopefully he is found guilty in court and is de-registered. Oh wait this is the NRL, they wouldn't do that.

Im all for this! Was sad to see him leave. Back when he played we always looked more potent in attack. Everyone gives him a harder time than what he deserves in defence. Langer was hardly a great defender but it was always overlooked for his assests in attacking ability.

Not sure what went wrong with Chalk. He looked great when he replaced schif at the end of season where he was injured for about 6 games. Which pretty much made me think he would be fine to slot in when he left. However that was the best we ever saw of him and was inconsistent ever since.
