Replaced Stick at the Eels, so the exact same tenure. Arthur 10 seasons, 5 finals appearances. A preliminary and GF in 2022, no other prelims. Stick 10 seasons, 5 finals appearances Prelims in 2016, 2019, 2020 GF in 2019 Make of that what you will Interesting to see the parallels. Key thing, which ...

Re: Parramatta Eels 2024
They have to be chasing Wayne, punting your coach is basically saying you are giving up on this season. Agree, and I reckon Wayne would have a better chance of a ring with Moses, Brown, Gutherson/Talangi, than he would with a 35 year old Cody Walker, Dodd and Latrell. Yeah, there's a lot more upsid...

It's only a sin bin if you don't contact the leg of the opponent apparently.LimeGreenMachine wrote: ↑May 19, 2024, 3:26 pm Fisher Harris , hip drop and no sin bin
Deadset lottery.
Walker needed to lay on the ground crying , maybe that's the difference

You could see the ball move but no angle showed the ball leave his arm. Bunker shouldn't overturn live decision on those. We don't see all the vision the bunker has They usually show the decisive vision when they make the final call. The fact it took so long suggests there was no clear footage.

On a side note, how does Reed Mahoney consistently get away with leaving the defence line so early and flopping on tackles so late? He got bumped off by someone yesterday and then made one of the latest jump on flops I’ve seen. The refs definitely need him on their tip sheet for his in game boundar...

Faamausili over Guler would give any of the crazy Matt's Matchups that we got a run for it's money in terms of unhinged lunacy  Yeah, at least Guler is borderline NRL standard. Faaumasili is a perennial reserve grade who sneaks a bench spot in first grade half a dozen times a year to cover for...

How crucial was that drop ball over the line by QLD. NSW scored down the other end. 12 point turnaround.

Interesting seeing the player intros and them calling out their junior club. Sophie Holyman just said her name. Seems they don't want to acknowledge the Rugby Union background.

Re: Canberra Raiders coach Ricky Stuart signs four-year contract extension
Wayne was not homesick, his children were. He actually intended to stay in Canberra, but because Wayne understood the financial reward from joining the Broncos it made sense, so he asked for heaps and got it. The Broncos had serious financial leverage. For example, I can't remember the guys name (d...

Re: Canberra Raiders coach Ricky Stuart signs four-year contract extension
Like all sports, championships are the ultimate mark of success. Championships don't always accurately reflect the quality of a coach however. Wayne Bennett is a good case study in that. He's not won a premiership for 15 years. That doesn't mean he's been a bad coach over that period. Michael Maguir...

Woolford should move on…. Looks like he will not get another run here…. Now I’ve repeatedly called for Woolford to be in our 17 this season. But I note he’s on the open market for next year and if other clubs really want him they would be signing him up for next season. If I was him, I’d be concern...
