Re: 2024 Round 6 v Titans: Game Day
Badger didn’t think he was offside or she would’ve called it. I’m with The Nickman. She did a good job. And I agree with reptar on this. I disagree with reptar because he agrees with The Nickman. And I agree with you disagreeing with reptar, but agree with Nickman. Well I agree with NR, but disagre...

Re: Ethan Strange re-signs with Raiders to end 2028
I still don't get where this Papalii retirement talk is coming from. He's only 31. He's got plenty of years left. Playing good footy too. The talk may have come up after last season where he looked to be struggling a bit with the pace of the game. From an observer perspective he's had a good offsea...

Re: 2024 Round 6 v Titans: Game Day
The NRL dropping Badger after she handled an extremely difficult game quite well is absolutely disgusting. This is the thing, we all ( rightly or not) think she has been dropped and that is what the media are saying But maybe she has been "rested" to take the spot light and criticism off ...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2024
Do we have room in the cap to sign an edge forward for this season ? What's Schuster doing ? Manly should have paid the bulk of his salary by now. Can someone find him from a Northern beaches McDonald's and get him to meet with Ricky? Hosking > Young > Ata > Simi > Whitehead Ricky doesn't seem to b...

Re: Parramatta Eels still hoping to hold onto Raiders target Ethan Sanders
The drums have been beating long and loud on this one. Most league journos have talked lime it's been a done deal for 6 months. Will be stunned if it's not officially announced this week.
I'm still not sure how it could have all happened since we're not allowed to negotiate anything till now.

Re: 2024 Round 6 v Titans: Game Day
Well, we really struggled to ice that but a valuable two points and maybe a more valuable lesson for our young side than if we had thrashed them. Titans were always going to be up for it and tried hard but we really should have closed that earlier with the amount of possession and penalties we got....

Last week were were awesome spreading the ball and creating space for our outside backs. This week we continually turned it back inside and didn't get any decent ball to our wingers. We all know HSS can get lost in defense at centre. Can't remember really testing him at any stage.

Re: 2024 Round 6 v Titans: Game Day
Give plenty of credit to Titans defense. Been under the pump and they keep putting in. Let's see if they can sustain it.
If Raiders keep playing like we did in 1st half I think we're fine. It's been very disciplined . Have to maintain the positive attitude and not slack off.

Re: Parramatta Eels still hoping to hold onto Raiders target Ethan Sanders
i think it's pretty obvious at this point that the eels picked sanders in their top 30 this year as a last ditch effort to keep him and when it became obvious to them that he is gone they've chucked the toys out of the pram and are now refusing to pick him for first grade. Players don't get picked ...

Re: Parramatta Eels still hoping to hold onto Raiders target Ethan Sanders
And if that is the reason for their decisions I don’t think that’s unreasonable or spiteful It’s just the nature of the situation Why would they debut a guy and prioritise the development of a player leaving over a player in it for the long haul? I wouldn’t want us playing Ethan Strange in FG footb...

Consistent wicket taker and good for a few runs in the lower order. Not sure how he'd go as an edge back rower though.julian87 wrote: ↑April 10, 2024, 9:18 amPossibly the most under rated cricketer of his generation too.Northern Raider wrote: ↑April 10, 2024, 7:36 am If MrPosh recommends Matty Nicholson then I'm on board.

Like a speed bump Lockyer. Coming is as the second man as someone’s already hit schiffa a small man and made him stumble. Still gets trampled. And qlders still try and argue he was a better rugby league player then John’s. You'll never see me try and argue that Lockyer was better than Johns, but I'...

Loved it, although it's hard not think that it should have been 41-0. Schiller is a defensive liability. Sharks did the same **** to him last week (and last year for that matter) Without Schiller we're not scoring 41 points. Without Schiller, they weren't scoring 8. He needs to get on top of that d...

That’s it! The coaches get paid too. This is a young player performing extremely well in areas that can’t be coach and struggling in very correctable areas So coach him up. Help him improve. He’ll naturally improve with experience anyways. That's the key. His flaws are coachable. His speed and atta...

I’d kill a man for Wayde Egan God he’s improved out of sight over the last 18 months Exactly the type of player we need to try and find at 9. Absolute gun. The Warriors are a serious contender IMO. Egan, DWZ, CNK, Jackson Ford, even Mitch Barnett, have all been better players since the coaching of ...

Schiller's defensive issues can be rectified through coaching and experience. What he offers in attack are natural gifts that cannot be taught. Guys like him and Savage on the wings creates scoring opportunities we do not see with the Cotrics and Hoppas out there. I'm happy to accept the bad when th...

Ethan has showed tremendous signs of class for a very young half. Great work to upgrade and extend now. He should be paid very well and I think the money discussed is fine.
