Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2022

Josh Schuster can’t make the Manly 17. Wouldn’t mind seeing him in green. Reckon Schuster would top the league on errors per minute played. To much showboating and going for hero plays when the percentage plays are needed. Has more negative than positive impact on his team. He's got a way to go bef...

So players need 18 months lead time for their next contract yet can still change clubs a few weeks out from finals. NRL logic at its best.

Reckon they couldn't prove the tanking allegation so stung them bad for the tampering.

Like the old Al Capone trial. Couldn't get him for the raft of serious crimes they knew he was guilty of so went hard on the tax evasion.

Thats a fair assessment. Would probably throw Hudson Young and Seb Kris in there too. In a season where the whole team has been dogged by inconsistent performances, those guys have done a good job on a weekly basis.

This is the best he's ever played - and it's decent FG footy. Not a star, but a strong contributor. The club has been good for him and he's played well for us. Shouldn't be any hard feelings. But it's always a risk for a player to move on when you are finally producing good football somewhere. Head...

Go look at where he starts and finishes. Looked to me like he goes across the field moreso than at the ball. It was a high kickoff that clearly goes a bit deeper than it was likely intended. I suspect almost all defenders in that area expect the ball to land somewhere between the 30 and 40 metre li...

Re: Set of six clubs forming a perennial NRL underclass

Doesn't this also exist in soccer? The same big teams always dominate the competition? That's a bit of chalk and cheese though, as Soccer don't operate with any salary cap and there is actually no intention for there to be any level of parity Soccer is very much the sporting equivalent of capitalism.

Subjective and irrelevant. Ref allowed play to continue and the game ended. There was no stoppage and no decision to challenge.

Tigers looking to appeal the result. If there ever was a case where the NRL could overturn a result then this is it. Simple situation in that the game had ended and the Cowboys had no right to use the challenge. Any review of the actual penalty decision is moot.
