Re: NFL Thread
Bills trade outta the 1st with Panthers. Panthers, to close out the 1st Rd, take Xavier Leggette, WR. Again, I had a 2nd on him. I'd have taken McConkey, Corely (has Deebo comps), Washington or Coleman. So Bills have traded away twice to teams taking WRs, of which they need . ****?!? BUUUT... given...

Re: NFL Thread
Dallas after trading back select Tyler Guyton OT. Not a surprise per say, but I really thought it would be JPJ or Barton. This confirms Smith will remain at G. 3 picks left in the top 100. LB, RB and C??? Had a look at the trade compensation from Vikings. Cowboys get an early 3rd for moving down 5 ...

Packers take Morgan, OT. Can play inside. 1 guy Cowboys were looking at, along with Suamatia, who is rated lower than I think he should. This Morgan is suuuper consistent. Bit of a reach for them? May have been there at 41. Line gets a bit blurry between end of 1st and early 2nd round. They obvious...

Not really. Fautanu was my ideal pick and came off the board 1 pick ahead. That aside there was plenty of players available that I would have taken ahead of Chop. Can't help but feel we could have traded back and still got him.

Re: NFL Thread
That fell nicely for Vikings. Many had them trading up to 4 or 5 to pick up McCarthy. He almost fell to them at 11 and decided not to risk it and moved up 1 spot. Jets move down a spot and will still get the guy they want. Weird trade. They both got what they wanted, and would have anyway. Jets wil...

It's a great pick. Adding their QB then giving him a target with your next pick. Genuine top 10 talent still on the board was a no-brainer.

Re: NFL Thread
Another predictable one with Titans adding JC Latham. Surprise free draft so far. Should get a little more interesting from this point as there's less consensus. I didn't have Latham here. I had 1 of the "Fs" Their O-Line stinks. Latham is an elite RT. The pick makes a ton of sense.

The first contentious pick of the draft. Giants go with Malik Nabers instead of JJ McCarthy. Giving Jones a target instead of drafting his replacement.

1 and 2 as most predicted. Gets more interesting from this point. Do Pats take Maye or do they trade down? They really should take Maye. He's the best pure passer in the draft and they are in desperate need at QB.

Re: NRL Rich List
This article is pretty old now, the DT keep recycling it. It is quite a flawed article. That doesn’t really seem to show a comprehensive understanding of the Raiders Group and their assets. It's misrepresenting a lot of the clubs. Raiders effectively own themselves and with such large asset base an...

Look we need to cool our jets a little here. It’s promising that we signed a good young player but that is all it is: promising. People stating that this means we should be challenging by 2026 or whatever is not only being disrespectful to history - I can only think of Manly with DCE, Foran and Bal...

Warriors totally clocked off. That early lead came too easy for them. Titans got some possession and Warriors weren't ready for it.

Re: Corey Harawira Naera’s career remains in limbo
The bottom line is that CHN is going to be entitled to a full pay out of his contract if medically retired. He is well within his rights to try and get back on the field. If CHN is medically retired, the Raiders will be entitled to full salary cap relief from the time of the incident. It is in neit...

Say he ...

That's fair. We were grand finalists the previous year so final 4 was reasonable to expect. The Nickman wrote: ↑April 24, 2024, 10:59 am I'd put 2020 as a par, actually. We should've made the prelims that year, and we did.

Zach Wilson traded to Denver for pick swap. 6th for a 7th. Before anyone asks it is Denver getting the 7th round pick. :) So will jets get a 3rd as a comp pick next yr too? You don't get comp picks for trades or cuts. Only players lost via FA, which is offset by players acquired through FA.

If the article is correct He is signed and we are waiting for the 10 day period to lapse before its official. If that's the case I don't see why we wouldn't push for the immediate release. Parra would probably want something in return . But that’s not how it works. The player has to advise the curr...

I think the jury is out on Trey Mooney and whether he is truly as good as people say he is on the GH forum. He looked slow and I didn't see him dominate in tackles. And I don't understand the fuss for Saulo as well - he gets dominated. Conversely, Xavier Willison will be a star for the Broncos. He ...

Even if we do sign him and he gets an immediate release. There is now way we're giving the keys to a teenage half who's never played 1st grade or trained with the team.
