Re: 2019 State of Origin II: Queensland V New South Wales

Freddy was happy to come on and explain everything away but it still doesn't make a lot of sense. He wants more effort yet he dropped a guy who delivered in spades (Morris) and includes a guy who's let them down in the past (Fergo). Dumping Walker after 1 game was also classic scapegoating. At least...

TBH I think the wiser play is mitchell in the centres with Jack and turbo to the winger replacing Blake.
No that's equally dumb. Dropping a centre (who played well) to replace him with a 5/8.

Re: Jarrod Croker

As good as it is to see Wighton as centre for NSW I'm still gobsmacked that Mitchell was dropped to accommodate him. Well I think it's absolutely fantastic. And honestly, I hope Jack can bounce back pretty quickly from being dropped for Michael Jennings for Game 3 too. I really don't want another C...

Re: 2019 State of Origin II: Queensland V New South Wales

What about this: Maloney at half, Jack at 5/8, Morrison and Turbo in the centres...Cleary misses out. That way, the best back in Origin 1 and arguably the best defensive centre in the game doesn't get dropped (Morrison), we still get Maloney running the show, Jack providing the running 5/8 option h...

This is the firm that designed Western Sydney Stadium, as well as Robina. It’s almost a cookie cutter of Robina. They did the indoor one at Dunedin too. https://populous.com/portfolio#stadiums Robina stadium is excellent as well. Only a single tier but still holds nearly 28,000. Same issue though i...

No, Kris and Oldfield are good backups. Simonnson’s proving himself to be a very astute purchase and at 21 years of age, having spent the majority of his recent years playing a different rugby code, he’s someone I’d be backing. Hasn’t looked out of place at all. CNK I can somewhat agree with. Yes h...

I can see why NSW has not selected Croker. They have generally gone for a different sort of player (big, power runners), and he has had defensive issues at times, but these are seriously overstated. His form just prior to Origin I wasn’t great this year either. However, to suggest he’s not amongst ...

NR - people like to laud Croker’s indivudual records and what he does for the club. He has been playing 1st grade since 2009 and has been captain for most that time.
