Re: NRL ban Jack Wighton for 10 matches, impose $30,000 fine

Biggest question is why has it taken the Daily Telecrap so long to publish the footage? Thought they would be on this like a fly on ****. Must be waiting for the right time i.e. 1 week before next season's opener. The footage won't be released until after sentencing. OK. Explains it then. Didn't ex...

Re: 2018 Test Australia V Tonga: Teams and Game Day

I haven’t written the Hingano off as a potential option at half for the Raiders. He might’ve been rubbish in his limited appearances in 2018 but none of them were in his natural position in the halves. Give him a chance I reckon Sent from my iPhone using The Greenhouse Saw him playing his "natural ...

Re: Canberra Raiders sign Ryan Sutton

Sutton only early 20s isn't he? Props usually hit their best form mid 20s onward. Plenty of upside if so. After initial concern I'm now OK with our prop rotation. Proven players with Paps and Sia. Young blokes like Sutton and Guler coming through. Liu a capable back up. Think I prefer this more mobi...

Re: 2018 Test New Zealand V Australia: Teams and Game Day

Turbo at centre was baffling. I can't recall him ever playing there even at U20s level. Made even worse by having a true centre in Gagai playing outside him on the wing. Surely swapping those 2 around was the obvious call. Little doubt a lot of other selections were dictated by player availability.

Ken Sio for depth?
No thanks. They only reason he's playing NRL is because the Knights lacked quality outside backs. Happy to stick with Oldfield as our no3 winger.

Re: Dunamis Lui named in NRL Academic Team of the Year

Good on him for working on a career outside footy. Have to say though it doesn't reflect well on this aspect of the NRL as a whole when somebody doing an online course in graphic design is in your top 13 achievers. What are you suggesting? That the academic bar is not set very high in the NRL. Firs...

Solid all year. At NRL level he's still a middle of the road depth forward. The biggest problem is he was our most consistent prop this year. Thats more a reflection on the performances of others on our roster.

Assuming he's no kind of cap burden you really need guys like this in your squad.

Re: NRL ban Jack Wighton for 10 matches, impose $30,000 fine

NRL has handed down their punishment. Can't change that due to retrospective public outrage. NRL just make stuff on the fly. I could see them saying new information has come to light and we have extended the penalty. I am sure this is part of the reason why the NRL made it 10 weeks in the first pla...

This year Aiden Sezer established that he is the best half at our club. This is more a reflection on the (lack of) quality in our halves than the quality of his own performances.

Not sure of contract status but lindsay Collins might be interested in a chance to start. He goes alright and wouldn't break the bank. Roosters was our best performance. Not sure I can vote for a win after our season was dusted though.

Went for Tigers. Away game against a side we were battling for a spot in the 8 with. Hodgo brilliant in his return and we Blew them away.

I did feel sorry for him, after that interview and I was concerned for his mental health, actually. But I'm also not sure I'm forgiving of how he walked out on our club...
