Re: Croker for Blues right centre?

Billy Walker, I’m not saying he’s the next Meninga. The point is he’s been consistently good at NRL level for a long time. He scores, sets up tries, leads and is now a good defender. He can also kick goals if needed. I understand if Fittler chooses Cotric or someone for youth but, in a time when the...

Re: Sutton struggling?

First year in the NRL- he won't have faced a month of intense footy like that ever in the SL, I'm not surprised he had one slightly off game. He's a bit of a quiet achiever (unless you listen to the commentators, who also give him half of Young's plays) but he racks up some solid stats & for some r...

I wouldn’t pick Croker - he isn’t near good enough to play SOO. He seems a nice fella and all but I truly don’t rate him much as a footballer . To be fair I acknowledge he’s having a good season but he’s my biggest worry come finals time - Konrad Hurrell has showed he can’t stop a hard running big ...

Re: Croker for Blues right centre?

I dont think i'd pick Croker, simply because as a sports fan im ageist AF. And given age, id already go Cotric over him just because that guy could be a 7-10 year stalwart of the team... but that's my hang ups. I will say this, the idea that Croker isnt good enough for Origin is an out and out joke...

Totally agree with this. He’s not only been strong shutting down attackers, he’s had periods where he’s changed the momentum with some big shots.

I know we need to manage the cap but Rapa is a must.

Got a little bit of knowledge about this and my impression is he really wants to stay. Not saying he'll sign for unders, just that he's not going to play hardball to squeeze every dollar out of the club.

Confident this can work for both parties.

I'd rather have Cotric, Rapana and Papalii in my side for this game than Tupou, Ikuvalu and Papalii Wot that last Papalii is meant to be JWH so they're 3 skin losses I don't agree with I understand how the Roosters won those match-ups in this format but I agree. Re: Is Jack Wighton finally ready for NSW Blues call up?

The more I think about this, the more I think Jack should be a red-hot chance for centre. As a few of you have pointed out, his defence is excellent, he makes great metres and he can cover the entire backline. He also does everything Bird can do but better - and has more strings in his bow. No way B...

6. Keary 7. Cleary 14. Walker That's the logical form v incumbency selection, in my books. Also a combination that could work for a long time. I think Wighton could handle Origin and adds a lot injury cover at 14 but not sure what his role would be if it's just as a sub. On the other hand, Walker c...

BJ really does deserve it this year, certainly ahead of someone like Ramien who is being mentioned as in the mix. His legacy of brain explosions is too long though. I would say Toots does as well but he plays on the wrong side. You'd think Cotric won't get in ahead of Fergo. Leilua is rocks and dia...

I'd say it has a lot to do with two things: 1. The Raiders are in the process of renegotiating their deal with the ACT Government to play their home season at Canberra Stadium (I guess it is doubtful we'll see a new one within the next decade at the rate we're going). The ACT Government has treated...

I think Joey and Cotric needs to put a lot of focus on ensuring they get back into position to take those tough early carries off the line early in the set. CNK loves the hard carry but with a lighter body struggles to bend the line at times. I worry Simmonsen is also a lighter frame. Would like to...

Hard for Schif to top guys who won all sorts of things & were one of the greatest RL teams ever assembled. He was excellent, but not a world beater.
