Re: 2022 Rd 14 V Broncos: Teams and Previews

If he's lashed out and hit someone in the face surely that's case closed, isn't it? Doesn't really matter what he's TRYING to hit, if you lash out with your boot and kick someone in the face that's pretty cut and dry for mine. Yeah, you can’t just go round lashing out and kicking people in the face...

Re: 2022 Rd 14 V Broncos: Teams and Previews

I thought Rapa lashed out because a Roosters player came in late from behind and targeted his knee. It wasn’t a classic cannonball tackle but it seemed close enough. Not sure if that will (or even should) be taken into account. Hopefully he gets away with a fine.

3 - Taps 2 - Savage 1 - Horsburgh Young also had a good game and I get why he’s getting points, but jeez, on so many occasions Whitehead was scrambling in defence, and making big plays on both sides of the field. More than once I wondered if he was playing in the middle. Not too many runs but some d...

This is the NRL not some local footy club. The only thing that matters is wins and losses and no one means more to the club than that. I am sure that this team can play better than what they have. They’ve done it for short periods of games before completely falling to pieces. This far into the seas...

We were plucky. Had no ball and were treated unfairly by the referees. Our line speed = six again; there’s all legal; changing dubious decisions; penalty tries. Holbrook was so right. Take their half and hooker out of their starting side they would battle too. We battled, but don’t have the class a...

3 - Horsburgh - big minutes, he’s playing his role really well, some relatively smart decision making (at least twice he looked to pass, it wasn’t on, so he took the hit up). 2 - Tapine - I guess, though giving away the first two penalties wasn’t ideal. Still, on form he’s currently our best prop. 1...

I’m pretty sure Charnze took a dive / stopped abruptly early in the set that finished with our match winning try. Maybe 30 odd metres out. It was excellent awareness.

Yep, in it up to our ears.

Every team that wins has had luck go their way at some point, if we’re there or there abouts we deserve whatever fortune falls our way, and we’re definitely good enough to take advantage.

I agree pat. I said at the time that if we're not resigning Boyd, Paulo and Austin to pay under performing players more to resign them then our management EDIT. I think it's difficult to determine damages in that regard. Another way of looking at it is that prospective players may have signed for less for the opportunity to play with a current state of origin player. The titans will rightfully play hard ball for one reason and it won't be to get him to pla...

The main thing that sucks for the Titans is that they’ve been negotiating with other players assuming they have Peachey on the books, so that will have influenced how much they can offer. If they knew they had another $450k (the supposed value of Peachey’s deal) up their sleeve then at the very leas...

A couple of things maybe of note with respect to the Raiders: Vunivalu remonstrating with the touch judge instead of playing to the whistle. Some of our guys do it a lot, sure, but players at every club do it. Also, Seibold only used 15 players. I don’t know who he left on the bench, so maybe they w...
