I don’t give a **** about the Greens. Mainly observing that I think they had a good opportunity that they’ve totally botched.
I am disappointed that they didn’t do a better job in pulling the mainstream left.

Re: The Politics Thread 2024
I think the Greens have really screwed up their tactics this political cycle. They came through last election on a high picking up extra votes, but I don’t think that was really on the back of many people wanting them to govern. I think there was a lot of putting Labor in, but signalling they weren’...

Can't believe people are debating this. Some of you seriously think the Bunker has sufficient evidence in this image to say no part of the ball has touched the grass? Not a single blade? His hands/fingers have completely prevented the ball from having any contact with the turf? https://imgur.com/a/...

Re: 2024 in review - Ethan Strange
I really liked what I saw from Strange. He was strong, elusive, resilient beyond his years. I think towards the end of the season his performances lost a bit from teams working him out, and probably also fatigue of a full year in FG. I’d absolutely back him to come back into the 6 in 2025 with the g...

I saw a bit of that re Turuva try in my group chat last night and I found it mind boggling  It would be near impossible for Turuva to have not grounded the ball I would assume he probably did. But I would be keen to look at it closer. He seemed to have the ball sitting on his arm and then got ...

Bellamy is still clearly above Cleary for mine. The way he has had his team consistently evolving and in the finals. Building and rebuilding spines.

Being pedantic - for the odds bookies are offering on winning the 2025 premiership, Raiders are the longest.
The bookies odds don’t reflect the odds of the Raiders winning.

It’s interesting that sometimes they don’t seem to check that the ball touches the ground instead of the arm carrying it. I think it was the first panthers try was worth another look in that respect. Credit to the Panthers. 4 in a row is an amazing feat, and they haven’t done it through a bunch of b...

At the time this happened well over a year ago I voiced my fears that this would end up being a drawn out affair that wouldn’t be in the interests of club or player. You can go back to the start of this lengthy thread and see. I was shouted down and told the club was handling it perfectly and we wo...

I don’t think that’s true sam.
Cronulla we’re ultimately put to the sword because they couldn’t capitalise on attacking opportunities. Raiders have that at 11.
