[emoji16] It did cross my mind. I figured the odds of 3 medals in a short period and no premierships were on the long side!

Something that also gets glossed over in most discussions regarding Australian coal mining is that Australian coal is among the highest energy and lowest pollutants of coals in the world. This means you burn less to generate more power and there's less emissions. While coal is still being burned to...

Jack Wighton turns down Raiders option to go on open market for 2021

I agree. No way hes a million dollar player. I reckon 750k is about what he is worth. Lets not forget, he is an international center, not an international half. 750k makes him one of the highestvpaid centers which is about right. We must take a leaf out of the sharks and roosters book and let him g...

I think 8 is pretty well spot on.

Can’t understate the value he added to the Raiders defence this year. Saving tries, cleaning up kicks and escaping the in goal. It was a huge leap forward over Jack at the back.

I guess it's all just very inconsistent with your posting history.... Feels like the NRL abritraily applying a NOT rule that impacts the Raiders is right in your zone! Thought you might struggle since I’d barely written anything at all of my own opinion. A black and white rule would be wonderful, b...

Sounds like you’re blowing in the wind piggles? Last week you were telling me I couldn’t ask a guy to take a haircut to win a premiership, it just doesn’t happen. This week it’s so prevalent that you feel there needs to be a precise rule on it rather than the odd event where the nrl can just step in...

The rule can’t just be based on whether you announce it beforehand though. Otherwise the next Rapana is careful not to announce it to the world.

Announcing it this time has made it very obvious that moves like this should be banned, announced or not. The NRL now need a clear cut rule.

Announcing the intention to do it before leaving was a big mistake.

It’s the right decision from the NRL. They’re just in a bit of a predicament because yet again they appear inconsistent based on having made the wrong decisions previously.

Evolving your game so that the opposition can’t just shut down your strengths and go to moves. We’ll never know. But I...

We’ve focussed in on the carbon tax part of my response, but in a nutshell the key part is that the 15% reduction occurr...

Forced to choose. Darwin.

Storm was early in the season, the team saw the benchmark and improved to defeat that benchmark twice later in the season. The fact there was only one game they were dominated in is a huge achievement in itself.

So I’ll go Darwin as a game that should have been won.

Half my vote to the Eels game for botching the win. Most disappointing loss.

Half a point for the Storm game which was the only game all season where at no point did I think we would win. Worst overall performance.
